I have several paid courses and none of them even come close to this channel in terms of content and detail. One of my anatomy course has a 20 minute video on the torso, whilst this one is 2 hours! Should have kept my money lol.

Hi Marc, I have a question... with the top view of the rib cage, you draw a box, develop it into an eye shape, draw the first rib (neck opening) then draw another shape inside the egg as the rib cage... I'm confused as to what the "eye shape" represents? The smaller shape you draw inside seems to be what you actually use as the rib cage (you draw the spinal column and clavicles in relation to this yet they sit very much inside the "eye shape.") Any clarification would be much appreciated.
@thedrawingdatabase8743
@thedrawingdatabase8743 4 жыл бұрын
It represents the top of the rib cage as a general conception then I reduce and refine that shape to better ad more clearly define the top further. The eye shape was a starting point.

mama murphy Yes that’s correct they certainly can be that’s why you always want to double look and think about those spaces in also a good scale .The plastic skeleton is really really good but it’s not top of the line so it might be off just a touch but ultimately it certainly has served us well. @@thedrawingdatabase8743 Can't donate sorry. However, in the meantime, you can improve your audio greatly just by moving the mic much closer, and then processing the audio track. There's a free program I'm sure you've heard of called Audacity. There's a couple of tutes on my channel how to process your audio (not a plug, lol just useful info), and you'll sound a whole lot better. Do a test of how you'll sound with your current setup, vs mic about hands width (or lavallier mic) from your mouth. You'll be amazed at the difference.

@@thedrawingdatabase8743 Really it depends on your setup. I'm guessing you're using a mic mounted on a camera. You have two options here. You can use a lavalier mic which is a lapel mic, or you can get a shotgun mic (as long as the sensor is in range) and mount that to the camera. Rode make a very good lavalier mic, and there are numerous sources of shotgun mics. Also it depends on your price range too. If I were going for one today I'd probably choose the Rode one, as it made a bit of a stir when it was released as a really good inexpensive lavalier. Do some research into them and microphones; understand what it is exactly you need (clear audio without room noise - preferably radio style voice - so any good podcast mic setup with lavalier will work well for you.) The good thing with the Rode, is (and I may be wrong here. I think it comes with two mics, which would be great if you wanted to do an interview with a collaborator. Really, it comes down to your intended use. If you never plan on doing any interviews, then a shotgun mic might suit better. So I'd sit down and have a good think on what you need, and what your think you might need in the future. The other option is again a shotgun, but mounting it on a boom which will get it closer. The thing about shotgun mics is they a sensitive in one pencil like beam from the end of the mic for a few feet. So they are good for talking to camera, however your setup determines how far you can have it from your face, and whether that's within the mic's sweet sensor range. If not, then maybe a lavalier would be the better choice. Here's the Rode mic: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/m5mAnMSC0pORXWQ.html

@@thedrawingdatabase8743 I make a mistake when explain it, the side where the humerus has to be placed in the scapula it is the short side in the scapula's back view and in your drawing you placed in the long side of the scapula

@@claymore806 Ah yes. I can see where you might get confused. This view is looking at the scapula and clavicle from the front, through the rib cage, so the humerus will interlock with the glenoid cavity in this correct manner. Its front viewing-the other to the left is from the back. Thanks for asking and Keep Drawing!
