Sleep mode is not true sleep, just turns the screen and sound off. Its as bad as any other stock anbernic portables

It doesn't sleep.it is exactly a rg35xx but with advance SP looks. Nothing new really.. Anbernic has been creating a new handheld every single week with most of them having the same specs and have yet to create a proper sleep mode in their software. Of course they will never make a proper software since there is garlic os etc.

Let's just hope it's a proper sleep mode which preserves the battery. Because some devices out there can go to sleep, but they drain the battery very quickly as if the device were still on.

It said turns screen off, not sleep in the specs sheet sent out to KZfaqrs. So it’s probably going to drain the battery while closed

Thats a blatant lie. Cardinal snapping, proper sleep, bluetooth audio issues and many other things havent been fixed in years

@@StarmenRock I heard that it is a problem with the driver called “Deeplay” which is set to snapping. A firmware update from Anbernic could fix this if they change this setting in the driver.

I think this will not be priced as a budget device. This has Wi-Fi, HDMI out, that hinge construction and Bluetooth. I think this will be priced like the Nano or a bit higher.

Yes, the copper plate, which is insulated from electricity on both sides - it would be nice to modify. (I do not like how the battery is in contact with the processor, they warm each other) Also need analogs, I realize that it will violate the athenticity, but the functionality is more important.

Looking good! For GB and GBA emulation, I prefer a handheld without sticks, and this time, it seems to be a little bigger than the last ones. They were way to small. This one looks great.

I already have your RG28XX and like everything about it! I plan to get your ANBENIC SP and I think I will like it as well. Two homeruns from ANBERNIC in my opinion. Next requested handheld, if you can make us a 6 inch 4:3 aspect ratio display version of your RG28XX. No analogue sticks, no touchscreen, two front facing stereo speakers, overlapping inline triggers (like the ones from your RG353M), add battery compartment door feature, same Linux stock firmware program from your RG28XX.

ANBERNIC, I absolutely like this new Linux stock firmware program that you have placed into your RG28XX ! It's better than JELOS, ArkOS and all the rest of the custom firmwares. Please continue to use that same ANBERNIC stock Linux firmware for all your future Linux handhelds. I also like the added Video Media Player and Music Player apps you have added with this firmware as well. The main reasons I plan to purchase your ANBERNIC SP is because you have added that same Linux stock firmware and because of the battery compartment door feature.

hey anbernic, I have a really good idea, make a RG35XXDS, you can make it like a original DS but with 2 more shoulder buttons and with some analog sticks as well, but remember to get a 4 inch screen with a 3.5 screen for the touch screen, the device maybe a good idea, as ayaneo and retroid had failed creating their own DS.

found out about the cpu having no heat shield or cooling? and its against the battery?? the other rg35xx all have heat shields , i was hyped but after finding that out im not buying it gets very hot in my country and if i go travel in the train and want to play some games on it i would be afraid of blowing the battery up someday

Just get a 3ds and mod it buddy. Nothing plays ds better than the ds itself and it can candle quite a bit of emulation.

@@jorgewilliams6041 i could get lets say, 2 powkiddy rgb30 or 1 3ds xl with scratch and dent at best, thats like the best i could find where i live with the same price point, if i want a near mint condition 3ds, i need like 3 to 4 times the price of powkiddy rgb 30 ,still waiting and hoping to get a modern retro handheld with ds form factor🙏
