Can we take a moment to appreciate that 4 exceptional musicians are recreating perhaps the most epic piece of studio mastery ever attempted by the greatest band in history… which was never intended to be performed live… LIVE!!! This is perhaps the most brilliant and under-appreciated live performance on all of KZfaq!!

Gary Stackhouse I do take that into account. It begins VERY choppy but they seem to settle in. Of course, groups like The Fab Four do it flawlessly but of course they are an Emmy winning Tribute Band with a long history. I give a thumbs up to ANY band who tackles the Abbey Road Suite, period.

Gary Stackhouse: Do yourself a favor and look up "The Analoges" on KZfaq. If you're a Beatle fan you'll be glad you did. They have them down to an art. The Beatles are all they do all the way down to instrumentation.

@@BUNKERJR53 @arturo carrasco ...sorry... I count at least ELEVEN musicians on stage when "The Analogues" playing this medley. As a life-long multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, I appreciate THIS version by Yellow Matter Custard, as there are just FOUR musicians on stage to recreate this brilliant suite of music. If you have enough musicians, it's easy to make something sound close to the original.... these four guys, on the other hand, are able to do it without any additional help. Nice try, but THIS version is FAR more impressive!

Clean your ears guys. The harmonies are out of tune a bit. It has to meld, not overpowering each other as it is here. They are trying to hard. Checkout the Analogues & the Blackbird to compare, espec the Analogues. Still enjoyable for a pub band. Listen catch the Neatles, the Beatles! at the Circus Krone gig '65 on KZfaq. They are ragged, out of tune, knackered. Not good. But. Still mesmerising & cant take your eyes of them.

@@WilG082 He actually hated the whole medley -thought it was a bunch of rubbish -he thought it was a batch of unfinished songs stitched together that didn't really mean anything and ridiculed The End as a sappy bit of Paul's trite spirituality. All of this is in one of his interviews. It's pretty jarring to hear him say it out loud. I think Lennon was a very bitter guy and jealous guy in a lot of ways. He hid this part of his personality while he was in the Beatles but it came out in little bits after the breakup. I think he was jealous of Paul's songwriting ability and post-Beatles success and possibly bitter about the fact that McCartney continued to improve as as a bass player while he hit a plateau as a rhythm guitarist. Lennon had his own subjective view about the medley. 10s of millions of Beatles fans, including me , disagree with him!!!

Beautiful, just beautiful, as it happens with practically all the Beatles music. This homage to the Fab Four is amazing. Enormous interpretation. Loved to witness the pleasure this great musicians reproduced the Beatles masterpiece. Great.

TRANSLATION: Video taken from the show this year (28/02/2011) Yellow Matter Custard of where they play a medley of Abbey Road and complete the order should have originally come before Her Majesty has been moved and placed as the last track of the final album. I Really Cool this balcony and generally took them by surprise. hahaha = D

Far out to watch that younger audience just loving this!!! Great job, brothers~~you really charmed us with that terrific interpretation. Glad to hear/see you do it your way but staying so true to the original. Great camerawork too.

The soul that is into this songs is really powerfull , You can see it by how this guys play it, something that nowadays is lost, is just not the same, beatles were really the musicians, they just didnt sell music, they made real music.

Growing up, I heard allot of Beatles played in the house as my Dad was a huge fan.. When I first heard Abbey Road Medley for the first time, I was confused as I expected the full song for each segment, I was confused they would cut to another song, disappointed they didn't play it in full.. I love how everything is put together on this song, feels like a story being told, different styles.. They did a great job covering it!

Usually whenever I hear a cover of the Beatles, it seems like whoever is doing the cover are trying to imitate the Beatles on a vocal level, these guys just use their own voices and rock out, good high energy this is the best set ever.......
