Anchored VWAP Explainer: Tutorial

3 жыл бұрынIn this video we walk you through our powerful Anchored VWAP drawing tool. The key here is know why Anchored VWAP is important and then how easy it is to use. Anchored VWAP is the average volume weighted price of an asset weighted a specific point in time.
On TradingView, we have a AVWAP drawing tool that makes it really easy to to pick a point in time and then see an AVWAP line on the chart. You can change the color and line thickness. The drawing tool is found on the left-side of the chart in the Trend Line tools menu.
In this video we also walk you through some examples including creating an Anchored VWAP ribbon on the chart and using the Public Library to find new tools coded by traders and investors around the world.

One query Since AVWAP is volume weighted price. Then why can it be drawn on NIFTY 50 index chart which has zero volume. Meaning I can't draw VWAP But I am draw AVWAP.

Strange, you say buy if it breaks the VWAP, I prefer to buy at a significant discount to them, like 1-2 SD, and sell at 1-2 higher.

Could you tell us more about this tool? Or what you would want to see? We'll get it to the team. Also, give Volume Profiles and some Volume scripts a try. They may solve this already

@@TradingView all the volume tools available in trading view shows the both buy & sell transactions for a specified time and/ or price.. Ex. In 1Hour candle - volume is 1.2Million What I want is, separate buy volume and sell volume values.. Ex. In 1hour candle - buy volume 0.8Million, sell volume 0.4Million. Like this.. hope you understood..😇
