Gotta love that female harbor master reporting to the rest of the Eurisian fleet what weapons that three strikes or the player uses. I prefer using either the pulse lasers or the railgun

This mission may as well have been your typical Touhou stage. The sheer amount of anti-air that you get in your face, coupled with the rail gun fire, may as well make it seem like someone activated a spell card against you.

Something I just noticed while playing through the mission again. The synthetic percussion starts up once the F/A-18s and MQ-99s are launched. Props for keeping the drone synth leitmotif intact.

Not gonna lie, I kinda felt bad for those escaping helicopters. Just imagine yourself in their shoes. Four planes fly in, destroy an entire fleet in a matter of minutes, and you manage to get to one of the few choppers that haven't been destroyed to try to escape. You think you're safe and almost make it out of the AO only to see one plane, bearing the Three Strikes that your army has grown to fear, just gunning it towards your craft. You know you're screwed. Fun fact: What I just described was pretty much my playthrough of the mission, even almost passing the line to get a lock-on on a chopper

Ace Combat music doesn’t get the recognition it truly deserves, this is just one of those masterpieces from the series

Yusuke Yamauchi, a young composer that is a beast when he composed this song. Every piece of this song were all epic. Welcome on-board to the Ace Combat music family. (Also he composed tons of songs from Daemon X Machina Soundtrack too.) (Wanted to add one more thing: He will slowly become one of the most legendary game composer soon.)

HERE FROM THE GREATREVIEW VIDEO ! this music for the championship beat so hard that's make me cry !

This mission was insane and the track encapsulates it perfectly. The Erusians are just throwing everything they have at you. Fighters, drones, AA weaponry, ships. And to top it off, you have Torres lobbing railgun shells at you throughout the latter half. It's just a clusterfuck of awesomeness!

You know, this is one of those songs I just didnt realize how good it was the first few times I heard it (probably because I was frantically all over the place trying to get a high score, and man does this mission push you) but the more and more I listen to it, especially on it's own, it's one of the best songs in the soundtrack!

SP Mission music is becoming more "anime like" than the main missions. If the vibes of Unexpected Visitor music remind you of Mobile Suit Gundam, then this music = Gundam SEED.

Canonically, Anchorhead Bay is the first time we go to that place before the events of Last Hope. It's like a revival of the relentless beating of the force that was once called "Invincible" and now, after nearly two decades, the Eruseans will know the feeling of dread, fear, and the nightmare that has come to claim them once again in the form of another legend in the making, like the fallen fleet before them.

This song is so upbeat and happy I find it weird how well it goes with the fiery nightmare you have to unleash on the ground.

Ace Combat and DOOM are both games in which you will be skinned alive if you turn the music off. And that is perfectly acceptable.

God I've been listening to this OST for 2 hours every single song is amazing! Ace Combat have always had awesome OST but this game, is something else. Is something glorius!! The really set up the bar as high as the space elevator this time. Ace Combat 8 will have a hard time trying to beat this ... but im sure they will succeed
