WHAT THE HECK ???? I have always heard about our ancient glories, like the invention of '0' by Aryabhatta, the 200 different ways of plastic surgery given by Acharya Sushruta. But this was INSANE. I literally broke out in tears when I saw this. Now I wonder what the heck is the government doing ? We were thousands of years ahead of our time now look where we are. Let's change this together.

But instead we're proud of being an Indian because we follow the ancient teachings of this beautiful culture . The teachings of ' Vasudev Kutumbakam ' and ' Sarwe Bhavantu Sukhinah '. Meaning that the world is our family and may the blessings of mother nature be on all, whether be it the smallest form of life or the super advanced multicellular homosapiens. Someone doesn't become an ' Indian ' merely by birth but rather by his or her actions, believes and way of perceiving other lives.

These designs should exist from at least 14000 years ago. Vimana's existed in Hindu civilization from Tretayuga or during Lord Rama's period. There is a text called Vimana saastra. There are exactly metullurgical explanations, clothing, how to navigate, train, etc for building planes and training pilots. Also, the NASA capsule is built exactly like what is described in these texts.

There were scrolls found. 1 gave instructions on how to build a vimana and what powered them. Which was mercury inside a closed figure 8 loop, and when current was added, it would circulate through the loop very fast and created lift similar to antigravity. @SpaceSheep for starters: Vedas say Krishna's well fortified city of Dwarka is from a time OVER 5,000 years ago (a time scientists thought no cities exist) and it was overtaken by the ocean eventually. scientists eventually saw it under the ocean, and its age, description, location match with what the Vedas say. History channel even documented this. Vedas mention a flowing river that scientists eventually found and confirmed it dried up over 10,000 years ago.

nope. That's just not enough. More conclusive data is required. These ancient alien folks start the investigation with the very thing in mind that whatever that will be found belonged to aliens. A total biased investigation. MOre, Indian's will start chanting about how great their VEdic texts are. This will apparently coming from folks who never in their entire living read the text by themselves.

This is a space craft has its own unique propulsion and some kind of force field to protect itself. I don’t think whoever built such a craft would not be concerned about our atmosphere. I have read they are able to traverse space, air, and water with ease.

What I know and heard about Vimana is that it works based on Quantum Physics principles. You need an appropriate driver to lift it using the mind. It won't fly just like that... it did not have a handle to align to a particular flight path; the direction comes from the mind to define the trajectory...

One minute in and I see a flaw in there reasoning, they're thinking of conventional methodsthos of flight, it depends on what was the source of power and if there are was some other source of energy or power to get it to fly whatever that may be. Unless the writing depicted that air was used to get it to fly like and modern airplane uses air for lift

But also. In order for an object to fly. It has to be aerodynamic in some or the other way to reduce air resistance. In this experiment they showed the same thing, i.e the shape is aerodynamic.

Also remember that these craft were not just for flying in earths atmosphere. Mainly for space. So whether aerodynamic or not, in space it would do what is required.

arielthompson You may find this of some interest.I take photos of objects in our skies and near the moon and have taken photos of many objects near the moon that are not aerodynamic in shape, some being roughly square in shape. My profile picture is of a stationary object that I caught on camera near the moon. It shows that being aerodynamic is not a problem for these craft.

Anybody else notice that those designs looks eerily similar to the recent Pentagon released UFO footage? Also the design is similar to how Bob Lazar described the UFOs. I am guessing that these sages have seen UFOs and tried to study them as much as possible.

We are developing, we are making machines, due to climate change everything will be wiped. We will start again from nothing. This cycle has happened before and these texts are just evidence of our ancient world which was much more advance than today. Our ancient ancestors were not really stone gatherers, fascinating. Ancient hindu, chinese, greek, egypt, etc.., civilisations have a lot more of such scientific knowledge. But the problem with them especially with hindu and chinese civilisations is they sought to keep these technologies secret from everyone other than those( only who are honest and eligible ) scholars who has to handle such complicated things in order to avoid misusage. As an Indian, I observe many hindu friends even today who tend to use their capabilities in a responsible way. That's what our ancient hindu texts always tried to teach us.

The earth is a giant magnet and a vacuum inside would generate lift,provided atmospheric pressure would not crush the vacuum. So even if somehow mercury driven anti gravity electromagnetic thrust vectoring engines were used and the vehicle lifted up above the ground,how could the vacuum exist even if the inner vacuum was spherical? Too many unknowns not to mention the thin air ,lack of oxygen and -40 degrees at high altitudes?

Correction- the aircraft model mentioned in rig veda is not from 500 bce. It's at least 12000-14000 BCE. Pushpak viman was described during that ramayan period.

I've got a problem with this so called "Past flying device" . This has a propeller in front and some kind of back wing for control on back. Of this defies gravity it shouldn't need neither of these two things. Or even be air dynamic for that matter

I don't understand why they are testing the model for lift. Even if the body could generate lift it would not be stable or steerable without modern aircraft style wings. If these things actually flew they used some exotic propulsion tech and not simple aerodynamic lift to stay in the air.

They don't use patrol or other gases time back. They were mutants.. half human half extraterrestrial so they only used brain power to fly these space craft. It is mentioned that these vimanas worked on voice camands only. We have no idea about fuel and also how they lift this thing verticle horizontally.. for that it required rotators or propellers. So how they knew the front and back of this thing. Even a paper plan has perfect aerodynamics but that doesn't mean it can be practicle.
