In this elden ring video we're gonna witness an all out battle between the strongest dragon factions in the game.
On one side we have the ancient dragons who are incredibly resistant and can wield the power of thunders, while on the other side we have the modern dragons who can breathe all kinds of elements including the hideous scarlet rot. So why not test once and for all which team is stronger?
Also hopefully we'll get to see more dragons in the shadow of the erdtree DLC

We need a prime bosses gauntlet. Prime Radahn, Prime Maliketh, Prime Placidusax. Like the Sekiro Inner Bosses, except actual manifestations of their prime selves rather than Wolf's imagined ones.

It's also because he relies an insane amount on lightning and fire attacks. Against the player, this is dangerous because they cover wide areas, on top of looking insanely flashy. It's why he's a fan favorite. But against other dragons whose resistances are fire and lightning, he's useless. Lansseax in a 1v1 usually kills him without losing more than 20-30% of her health because of this. Because she mostly just relies on biting and slapping which is physical damage.

Plus his lightning damage is turned down because he's balanced to fight you in a shallow lake where your resistance is lowered. So he just never hits as hard as he should when he's in other arenas

"Wannabe dragon" is such a strong word for Theodorix. To even become a magma wyrm, you need to kill dragons first. Theodorix is still my favourite one.

Seriously tho, Theodorix has gotten far stronger than almost all of the other dragons. Our boy deserves some respect. He can even give Placidusax a run for his money in a 1vs1, something pretty much no other dragon can do.

Two main causes for that. A) their non-breath attacks are mostly for people under them or directly behind. B) if they register as anyone in even a bit of range, they'll proc a stream or sweep attack and it'll pluck maybe 2 health off if it hits at all. Meanwhile Placi has AoE's and wide sweeps for days.

New Souls player here but based off of what I've experienced so far and mind you this is just my head Cannon but each dragon is an extremely powerful entity on its own so in a way if this was a real battle they wouldn't really feel the need to team up too much simply for the fact that each one could solo an army depending upon who they're up against I this is more of a battle of egos if it was based in lore just my opinion though LOL

That opening with the thunder really showed that ancient dragons are way cooler. It's like they roar and suddenly thunder everywhere what a display of power. On the other side, the modern dragons just walked slowly towards their elders like this thunder is nothing to us if this is the best you can do we're not impressed 😂

Bjorn , Nice video. I know placi is a clutchlord , but you didnt accidentally make him immune to damage in certain moments right? Because, quite a few moments where he should have taken damage from the breath attacks, they didnt - and the breaths have a very large hitbox. Like in the third battle, there were atleast 5- 6 moments after his transition that he should have taken damage. Also , he sometimes wasn't getting damaged during his phase transition, teleportation, when he usually continues to have a active hurtbox after he dematerialises. Just asking.

I remember Dragon Greatclaw's description mention something about being strong against the feeble descendants of the dragons, refering to the Wyverns we have to kill for dragon communion, but those guys are descendants of Greyoll, regarded as an elder dragon too, but Greyoll and her sons (the wyverns) are completely different species. Regardless of that, I love the fact that the game shows both Magma Wyrms and Dragonkin soldiers as pathetic imitations of these magnificent creatures.

I know this is an insane request, but considering that it's worked for the Great Jar and Greyoll... Would it even be possible to make a functional Gransax? Perhaps by scaling up a normal Ancient Dragon and increasing its stats as warranted? That MF is half the size of Leyndell, so in all likelyhood I cannot see it working, but still an interesting thought

Because plasidusaxx is a relic of the past (probably even dead(we killed him butwe travelled back in time to do that)) then considering that the lands of shadow are kind of like a graveyard, id love to see a plasidusaxx prime or a gransax fight.
