Excuse me, I'm not trying to be rude or anything, so I'm sorry for pointing this out, but though Julius Caesar certainly created the Julian colander, he was never Emperor of Rome. The first Emperor was his adopted son and heir, Octavian who went on to become Augustus.

Lol! Julius Caesar an emperor? He was assassinated by some of his faithful (!) friends because he was the most democratic ruler Rome had (he imposed Acta Diurna which meant that all theSenate's discussions and decisions must become public). And the first emperor was his nephew Octavianus Augustus...and the irony is that after that all the emperors were called Caesar! Lol again! Sorry I edited my comment because it was at first more...rude!
