It was not a brewerton, I’m pretty sure it’s a Susquahennah broad. Thoughts?

I'm thinking Susquehanna Broad Point as well..they are a common find in my area as well. Nice find!..👍
@eastcoastlithics13982 ай бұрын
@@nepahistoryandarchaeologys8623 it looks exactly like a vernon too! But each point will vary from knapper to knapper. I believe the vernon and susky broads overlapped at some point in the middle woodland in the same area.

I need to get my sifter out as well, been worried about posting it on KZfaq. People always hate on it saying it destroys sites. Which is true but when it’s along the river bank it’s only saving history.
@eastcoastlithics13982 ай бұрын
There are thousands of sites in one county. Im sure its not a big deal as long as it aint a paleo! Plus youre documenting as you film. Let em hate on it 😂 its good for the algorithm. And yes if it’s along a river itll get flooded out and away at some point.

@@jackbarnes8135 it’s likely- I plan on going on the river a lot more this summer and hopefully finding a fire pit or something to sift out. Youll haveta be the one to yell at me on the bank 😂

You are correct sir. Initially I thought it was a kirk but later realized it was a susky broad 👍🏻

Oh you fucked up bro... wouldn't have even touched it. Atleast put it back with arrow facing same direction. Could be a simple marker. I know it may not be but it could be.
