Hmmm…for my favorite level…for the Sonic 3 side, it’s a tie between Hydrocity Zone and Carnival Night Zone. For the Sonic and Knuckles side, Flying Battery Zone and Sky Sanctuary Zone without a doubt. Sonic 3 & Knuckles is a goated game…*although, I do think Sonic Mania is the superior game by just a slight smidge.* 😆

Reason why Lava Reef act 1 boss was dumb is cause Eggman shoot spike balls in the lava while he is in the lava. You don't even need to hit him just jump on platforms

2:09 Alright, as much as I usually fight for Sonic 3, Sonic 2 definitely has the best first level in the classic lineup, it has a setup for you to truly show how far you've come in mastery of the game by setting up enough checkpoints to get all emeralds in Emerald Hill. This is the only time I will say Sonic 2 has literally anything over Sonic 3.

Y’all would probably not like this take, but I personally think that Palmtree Panic is a better starting zone than Angel Island. It honestly introduces Sonic CD’s main mechanics and gimmicks better, even though Angel Island has some amazing storytelling.

Vocal themes: Open Your Heart, Escape From The City, Live and Learn, What I'm made of, I Am All Of Me, Never Look Back, His World, Endless Possibilities, Knight Of The Wind, Live Life, Infinite Theme, Undefeatable, Find Your Flame.
