Regarding the Arizona one, I believe that's a peccary or javelina, a pig-like animal that is native to the American southwest and Central America. I lived in west Texas once, and we had those. It's not a true pig, as those originated from Europe, but rather a pig-like animal that is native to the Americas. One of those weird cases of convergent evolution, like how so many animals all across the world keep evolving independently into crabs.

Foxes are not impossible to domesticate, or even difficult to do so. It just takes selective breeding, and it's been done at least twice. I think you can actually buy domesticated foxes, but they're expensive and the domestication process tends to make them look very different from wild foxes.
