Lovely chatty video. And so good I watched it twice 😍 I also love my Pilot VP Matt black. Not only is it a great clicks fountain pen that writes so smoothly …but if I ever leave the house with it I have one pen that writes 3 different line widths, one with normal pressure, little thicker with a little more pressure for headers and thinner line (upside down) for short sentences that I want to stand out in a different line width. I’m so jealous about your Moomin TN I have the passport Little My and tried to convince myself I don’t need the black edition but now I really want it and it’s over $200 on eBay 😢 looks forward to living vicariously through TNs on your videos. My favorite planners right now are the Sterling ink but I also love traveler’s notebooks, those are amazing. I’ve recently gotten a Hemlock and Oak for memory planning and I’m in love. I love graph or dot grid and don’t even care for lined paper anymore. Having said that, these are my opinions and no one should chide others about what their favorites are… we all react differently to different stationery. I, like you, really don’t like dated dailies and a planner friend doesn’t like not having dates she says the keep her accountable- they make me feel guilty and less then. We all react differently and should celebrate our differences and what makes us tick

I finally got around to smack the blank weekly planner into my Camel TRC, the vertical system thus far works wonderfully for me. The planner will get filled in at the office the upcoming week. I did find a great paper supplier in Amsterdam that has a lot of Midori/TRC stuff (24papershop). Ordered a repair kit, colour-matched notebooks Dot Grid of Midori (Light blue and Light grey), and dog's sticker pack of Midori. Would love to see your stationary/journal pictures but I get the disliking and distancing from Instagram (for me all Socials to be frank). Just missed out on the Tokyo edition but maybe for the better for now. Also, I only can name the Pilot the Vanishing Point as Fountainpens normally to me are capped style pens and the only other clicker I know is the Platinum Curidas.

I used to use the Curidas but made the mistake of getting an extra fine and it’s soooo scratchy it hurts my bones 🤣 I hear good things about stationery shops in Amsterdam, I will add this to my list! Enjoy your new TRC goodies!!

Congratulations on your milestone, and your gorgeous new VP! What a perfect way to celebrate! I love the feel of the Camel cover, and I didn’t know the Tokyo edition felt more like that over the smooth leather.

I've had my eye on the Pilot Vanishing Point - I'm forever losing the caps to my pens -- but -- I suspect the pen clip would drive me crazy 😮 love your collection of TNs.

The pen clip placement was something I thought would drive me crazy too, but honestly it really doesn’t (at least for the way I hold my pen) I wouldn’t let it put you off. I really don’t notice it, it’s so slight and perfectly placed. Hope this helps. X

Hi, new subbie here. I'm totally on Team Vanishing Point, a true game-changer, IMO. I now own 2 Decimos ( and ). I fell down the rabbit hole, am still trying to avoid the lovely, too-numerous-to-mention inks. So.....mostly cartridges. Help. I think.

Inks are a slippery slope, but if you ever get the opportunity to get some samples I would fully recommend it. Most samples will give you about 3 fills in your converter so great for starting out. The vanishing point is incredible, I’ve pretty much abandoned my other pens for now 🫣

Hi Jo. Have you ever used a twsbi eco medium? I like that size and wondered if pilot VP medium is the same?

Hey, I haven’t tried the medium but I do have a fine, I would say the pilot M is just a bit thicker than the twsbi F. I guess because its a Japanese nib it’s a bit on the finer side. Hope this helps! (I think yoseka have some nib comparisons on pilot vanishing point maybe?)
