this reminds me of some of the experimental styled music, like some of king crimson's stuff, in that it's a bit more rhythmically focused and kinda just goes on for a while with more subtle changes as it goes on. It's the kind of music that just gets you to space out to, I love stuff like that.

This song was a lot of fun to play with on the trees. Because I didn't have a feel for which ones were which notes, it sometimes went wonky, but the style lends itself to syncopated notes and long pauses with just occasional arpeggios from the group of four small trees right above your character. :)

Sword and Sworcery is mostly controlled by sliding your finger (or mouse I guess) around the screen. If it were a point-&-click game it would be controlled just with single taps.

I find "Perpeetum Mobile" by Penguin Cafe Orchestra ( /watch?v=6E3znZoFnN8 ) and "Elevation of Love" ( /watch?v=gtEztYjk88s ) and "Tuesday Wonderland" ( /watch?v=B9W4GMVvXxY ) by EST to be similar to this song. They are all very good songs.

I play it with a capo on the 5th fret. The first chord is kind of like (going from high e to low E) 1-3-2-3-X-X the it goes between 0-3-3-2-X-X and 0-3-2-3-X-X for a while, switching to 0-3-3-5-X-X and 0-3-2-3-X-X a couple of bars later. The bridge chords are 0-5-5-5-X-X and 0-3-3-3-X-X, then there's a little hammer-on double stop thing 5/6th fret. Hope that makes sense.

Daniel The picking pattern is probably the trickiest part to get a handle of. There are a couple of ways to approach it but I find the easiest way is to use your thumb to pluck the "bass" notes (i.e. 3rd and 4th strings) and then drag your index finger upwards to play the "treble" parts (i.e. 1st and 2nd strings). If you think of it as a compound duple metre (6/8) it would go as follows: 1st beat - 4th string; 2nd beat - 1st string; 3rd beat - 2nd string; 4th beat - 3rd string; 5th beat - 1st string; 6th beat - 2nd string. I sort of ad-lib the hammer on part in the breakdown, and use more of a muted strumming technique with my index finger. I might try and compile a tab or even do a video demonstration if people are still having trouble with it.
