Hey Ken, I am a long time viewer who really enjoys your content. Two years ago when I found you for the first time by searching "how to get good in arena" I learned alot of things I didn't know yet and I really appriechiate you for posting all these "high ground retakes" "protected peaks" "how to boxfight" tutorials. Back then I was still playing on Nintendo Switch but managed to climb all the way to Contender III division. Then I realised that I propably reached the maximum skill cap for a 30 fps and consistent 50 ping player and decided to switch on PC with mouse and keyboard. When I switched it was pretty confusing trying to find bind my perfect keybinds and my sensitivity since I had no expierience at PC games or any stuff like that. So I copied Jivans keybinds and made some adjustments and boom I went from struggling to do a 90 to easily being able to full piece control an decently good creative warrior. Now followed improvement over time and eventually I managed to almost qualify for a cash cup (top 1000-1500). It was going really good and I propably could've gotten somewhere but then Epic Games decided to remove more and more weapons that I loved and replaced them with some wierdly playable different weapons. Also I felt like the toxicity in the game started growing alot and yeah this is mainly what made me quit Fortnite for almost a year pretty much. I got into playing an FPS game called Valorant, you propably heard of it. After grinding that game for a year and reaching the second highest rank "immortal" (comparable to the peek between the Champion and Unreal ranks) in that game kinda felt like I completed it in some way and there was nothing to grind for anymore (no cash cups or different modes I could use my skill for). So I decided to switch again. So now, 3 days ago, I started playing Fortnite again and thought I would do extremely bad and be extremely washed. But surprisingly I still have the muscle memory down I still know everything about the game that I knew when I quit and all it is for me right now to get good again is playing zone wars, playing 1v1s, playing box fight and warming up my building mechanics. Then I realised that there was no arena anymore, but you are able to achieve a rank now, similar to Valorant and I was like okay let's try that and played one match. I got a win in the first game that I played with 10 kills and I was flabbergasted when I got ranked gold 3. I don't know how good that is in the current skill base or if you can even get a higher rank from unranked but for me playing for 2 days after a 1 year break it felt really good. That day I grinded for like 6 hours and I got to Diamond 3 really fast. I strongly believe I could become a pro again and maybe finally qualify for a cash cup in the future and all of this is only thanks to you and Jivan. You two are the main reason I got to the point where I am today and want to thank you alot for your help. I am also really glad to see your own progress and being able to compete with the best players in the game right now. You both truly deserve it. I don't usually comment on videos but I just wanted to tell you this for once. Also I think everyone deserves to hear some nice words and get some respect :D. So yeah this love letter is already getting too long and you will propably never see this or read this but keep up your content and stay save! (Also aham if you'd like to coach me hit me up ;D jk).
