Anderson possibly holds the longest winning streak (16) and longest losing streak (I think he's lost 5 in a row by KO) of a UFC fighter. 3 or 4 consecutive losses especially while getting finished is usually a guaranteed cut from the roster. There is no way to logically conclude he is still capable of competing at that level, and he has suffered some horrible injuries in the cage. For the sake of his family, he should swallow his ambitions and find something else to do because the long term consequences could be very bad. I can't imagine there are people close to him who are encouraging him to keep fighting. But it could be like a doctor telling someone they need to stop eating something they really like coz it will kill them but the person just can't do it
