It would be great if Dave, (and one other such as Rabea or Pete,) could take over the Sounds Like series properly. Would love to see him going round the shop, choosing the gear etc. Dave would be really good at closing out the best bits of cheaper gear.

Love Dave. Just seems the sort of bloke you could grab a coffee with and talk crap about guitars for hours. Loving these segments, we need more Dave on Andertons. Great player, PLEASE get him in a jam with Danish Pete before too long.

@@b10t3rr0r Yeah I know I've seen all the 'sounds like' videos. We are in a new era now and I'd like to see his take on it. Something unique about these videos is that there is no set budget it is just the cheapest possible. I'd like to watch that.

I think if they include that picking up items section...like what made them choose those from the shop it would be even more entertaining. Although I must say this is very accurate, and David is such a good guitarist. This is just a suggestion to spice it up 😅

Loved the "Sounds like" Series, but this new version is a lot more satisfying because it shows the entire process of how the pedals are picked i order to sound like the intended guitarist. Also, Dave is very good, loved the Frusciante video.

Love this series! this is the stuff that really helps folks in choosing and trying gear, and of course the fab Dave Simpson is the man for the job! Someone stated earlier lets see Danish Pete and Dave have a jamming session man that would be awesome! Let them choose the gear from the shop go on you know that would make a great vid!

Mayer geek here! He mostly used the Bluesbreaker to boost into the tubescreamer, like how he used the blues driver and usually uses a Klon. I was looking forward to seeing the Bluesman in action for this purpose. Enjoyable video nonetheless!

I would like to see a lot more vids with the psychosomatic drive, it by far makes the most difference for every tone. Too bad its such a hard pedal to find, more rare than the Centaur even, but if the opportunity ever came up again i would definitely donate to the cause , and send you my money for one. I really enjoy these videos. Especially as the pedals chosen are not mega expensive. I don't honestly care how close the sounds are (although I realise that is the point of them), I just love watching Dave play. 😁 I hope that there will be a Gary Moore one? Cheers. 😊😎🎸

Sounding like John Mayer is difficult. He has a pretty generic Strat tone. The sparkle is all in his actual playing, rather than the sound itself, I think. Having said that, Dave does a fantastic job!

More of these please. They are a good starting point for using a multifx. Could you see what swapping out each pedal for a pricier option does so that the route to upgrade can be seen.
