Only thing I’ll say about this. Please be careful handling these, a lot of these knockoff toys have been found to have quite a bit of lead paint in them so, make sure you’re careful!!!!!

If you haven’t found them yet, Mexico made some larger (1.5X Funko sized) security breach figures that were better modeled than the funko figures. They look pretty good and damn near legendary when properly repainted. They appear to be made from the fan generated 3D models online. They have removable faces that look decent underneath and the stomach opens up with visible endo parts inside. And of course the gyrating lights. They even made a run of these figures in clear acrylic with no paint. “Phantom animatronics”. They would be great ready to paint models. I bought some myself. Unfortunately Roxy and Chica are a little rough looking by comparison to Freddy, Monty, and Bonnie.

The reason the twisted bootlegs have removable masks and lights in the back is because they're based on the Mexican bootlegs you mentioned in the video, so pretty much they're bootlegs of bootlegs

Welcome to Mexico where do to a dollar being worth 20 pesos. Official merch is worth around 100 or 200 or even up to around 500 pesos and the bootlegs being around 10 to 50 pesos given how big they can be or small. So yeah unless you have the cash it's not worth getting of the official merch and more when it comes to allot of Funko's figs

@@commanderjason7786 I wouldn’t recommend buying them just for your own safety, they often contain a lot of lead paint in them so I wouldn’t buy any if I were you, just wanted to let you know.

Don't worry guys, I'm not planning on making any purchases regarding the Mexican bootlegs. If I really want to try my hand at non-official figures, I'll try Etsy. There's bound to be someone who 3D-prints their own figs.

@@commanderjason7786 some may still conatin lead, its because the paint usually and if not theres millions of cheaper stuff that is bad for health to add to figures, i reccomend not buying any, the chance of putting lead or other deadly stuff in your house that will basicly perminately stay in the air or slightly on objects is likely pluss even if they look good they could easily look diffrent or just slightly worse since they use the best one they made for the images of the thing, if im being honest the risk of putting some unknown stuff thats bad for my health near me is terrible, and cheap replacements for plastic may exist to that are illegal, theres just so much that probably will happen so I DONT THINK YOU SHOULD GET ONE EVER and i made that capital letters just incase you dont wanna read all this

I don't know what it is exactly, but bootleg figures for *any* series out there seem to have an obsession with inserting a flashing rainbow light in them. I've seen it with fnaf, Pokemon, Mario, Sonic, and basically anything else with lead paint coming from Mexico. My only guess is that it's there to look eyecatching when they're up on display at flea markets, or just as a lazy attempt at kid appeal. Nothing screams "Johnny Six year old" quite like an RGB rave encased in a cheap vinyl Dreadbear.

they could still contain lead, and the chinese ones use copyrighted images and charictors unlike the other ones that atleast avoid breaking copyright law, i could be wrong but i feel like atleast some of the figures here contain lead since they dont care much about laws and pluss a few of theys looked like they may of contained lead paint or other bad stuff, especially the ones covered in the weird wet stuff, thats definately not something safe to put in your house

These sure are some of the figures of all time. I figure Nightmare is on the cover both because Scott didn't want to model Twisted Freddy just for a render of half its face, and because Nightmare is the only animatronic of his namesake line to actually be an illusion in-game. The others seem much more solid, and real. If anything was an illusion test, it's that guy. As for the Funtime thing, they.. really don't look like that in the text, to be honest? This is after all the same artist who replaced the unnamed Funtime line Mangle-like fox in TFC with just pictures of Funtime Foxy and Mangle, who replaces Blacktime Freddy with Funtime Freddy, who replaces that metal figure with.. _that,_ in TFC. Same artist, same blatant disregard for remaining faithful to the text.

@@underagegrl No, Nightmare Bonnie has a blueberry-purple color and shares pink/purple eyes with most Bonnie models. The one on the cover of TTO is grey with red eyes, distinctly Nightmare's own coloration. Most of the Nightmare animatronics also have more subtle distinguishing details like the damage patterns and unique teeth (though Nightmare shares his with Nightmare Fredbear, the coloring is _very_ obvious between those two).

The only indication where the Twisted Animatronics were the Funtimes was from the very end. When the FNaF 1 cast comes in and destroys them, I remember there being something along the lines of metal tubes as endoskeletons, similar to the Funtime endos

I actually found a fully in-tact set of some bootleg sister location figures based off of the funko ones for a dollar, and I still like them a bit over the funko ones because of two reasons. It doesn't cost your life savings to get a full set, AND they have an LED in them which makes sense for the funtime theme. Also none of them have scuffed paint thank god.

Twisted Chica is just one of Funkos strange OCs/custom designs, kinda like how they gave Lolbit a full body back when it was just a head on a tv screen

Even so, she made it sound like Twisted Chica was made up by the bootleg company, which isn't true. Twisted Chica exists, even if it's only as a legally licensed figurine/action figure. It's weird that Twisted Chica wasn't included in any games though. One would have thought they would include her in the AR game at least. I love the design of twisted chica.

On the topic of the Twisted Ones and Nightmares being the same, we now know that it’s… kinda? The case? TLDR; the final Tales From The Pizzaplex book came out early, and the final story is called Dittophobia and is about a kid named Rory who has been stuck in the FNAF 4 rooms in an automated experiment for a whole ass decade. There, the Nightmare animatronics are shown to have been endoskeletons adorned with crummy costumes all along moving on tracks built into the floor. What makes them look a lot more freaky and lifelike is an illusory gas that’s pumped into the false house during the entirety of the experiment. The animatronics are said to be harmless once the gas had been shut off, but the story describes Rory feeling the pain of Nightmare Freddy biting into his arm earlier in the story when the gas was on, so maybe it’s a psychological thing? It’s not the same as the Twisted Ones, but the core idea of illusory fuckery ultimately is shared between the two. (Also would like to clarify that the Funtimes definitely aren’t the Nightmares nor are they the Twisted Ones. The reason it looked like that in the graphic novel was because the artist had nothing to go off of. You can see that they drew Springbonnie as regular Bonnie earlier in the story even.)

Personally if the twisted ones and the nightmares were to replace each other. The twisted ones would immediately become more iconic. Because imagine you flick on your flashlight and you just see a drooling maw before a jumpscare. Their designs are weak but I believe they could become more if care was put into them. I mean imagine each character having their own designs that represent them instead of spiky endoskeleton with crappy wire management... One just seems a bit more nightmarish to me rather than Iron maiden.
