3 жыл бұрынHello internet, today I'm here to share how I made myself a Spring Bonnie suit, perfect for birthday parties or any sort of get together with the kids! With this suit, you'll be the life of the party!
Prepare for a long tutorial, as building this suit is not an easy task. I commend those of you who do attempt the challenge! Keep in mind, there is no exact method to suit building, it is an art and may take many forms! Take a peek at other talented Spring Bonnie builders for inspiration down below

As for the mobility of my suit in particular, it is a bit stiff, but has a wide enough range for its purposes. If one were planning on wearing this suit for 3+ hours, it is recommended to sew a suit out of fabric for the flexibility and breathability aspects. If silhouette and believability are top priorities compared to comfort, this may be your answer.
A few future refurbs of mine for this suit include an extension of the snout for a more mousey look, a redesign of the hands for even longer fingers, and lifting the head higher on the wearer to add to the neck. The last plan in particular may change the way the head is used however, as the character design doesn't allow for the actor's eyes to meet the character's if the neck was extended. For this reason, I may consider moving the viewing area into the mouth. However, these are future ideas, and have no solid plans of being done.

I love this so much, but here's a tip: As a fursuit maker myself, it would have been easier to wrap it in Saran wrap and duct tape instead of just blowing the fabric right on. That way you already have the patterns that you know you need and they can be sewn together in the right areas or glued right into the base, then you only need to glue as you go. I feel that would have been much easier, I've used this tactic many times. It also probably would have been easier if you had your own duct tape dummy. 😊 They are relatively cheap to make all you need is another person to help. There are many tutorials online of how to make your own.

@@ParrotsAccount Actually its pretty simple, I've tried many styles of making , including this! Though everyone has their technique, there is no wrong or right way to do it! The only reason I use this method is I end up with much cleaner look, neater/more discreet seems, and I don't waste as much fabric. What might take a lot longer for someone else to do might be very easy for you, and vice versa. Do whatever makes you comfortable! All I was doing was dishing out some advice 👉👉

I've been interested in robotics/animatronics for a while (FNaF not withstanding), & though I'd probably never be able to program or weld them myself, this tutorial has taught me that I can always fall back on costuming. Probably more so up my alley anyway.

Thank you for this! I however used your tutorial to instead create a withered Springbonnie suit, but kept the vest and bow in as it would be like a more realistic glitchtrap I guess. I will also be applying fake “spring-locks” along with adding fake blood, and rotten textures to both the suit as well as my face to bring the idea to life… You have no clue how much of a life saver you are for making this tutorial!🤩🤩🤩😆😆😆😇😇

Note for potential costume makers: It's probably best to begin making this a month or 2 before the event you're planning to wear it to! It's gonna take a while to make everything.

This cosplay is accurate, to the point where it’s scary. It’s as if Andy didn’t even make the costume, and just tore it straight out of the game. But the fact someone took their time to make this so accurately, makes me appreciate it more. Thank you Andy for showing off another absolutely fantastic cosplay.

Exactly for example I’m doing hollow knight themed costumes for my family, I’m being hornet while my younger sister and mom are gonna be the hollow knight and ghost as hornet calls them, so it was really helpful for me when figuring out the mask parts for them :D
