the old 1 has the og gtx blade. the new 1 has the gtx Z blade.. same blade on the bespoke... that's the only difference

Thanks for the heads up tank, plenty of better options nowadays in the trimmer game. I've been using the Boost FX for everything and the Stylecraft Evo for kids cause of the soft blade. Much love, stay blessed.

Thank you! I ended up getting the original version of the GTX EXO a few months back on Amazon during a 1 day flash sale for about $90 after taxes. I recently saw these and was wondering if there was an improvement.

I adjusted them several times they still snag. One screw rattled almost all the way off and they are pretty loud. Finally got rid of them and exchanged them for the bespoke hoping for better results. Also looking to get the stylecraft cyborg clippers.

I’ve been to several classes featuring Andis trimmers and they mentioned time and again they r not made for interior work. They r made for edge work. They r not designed to debulk. I love mine. But when it comes to that interior work I throw on a 00000 on my clipper and get at it.

If they get clogged up i would recommend getting an air compressor (ca air tools makes a good quiet one) I keep the hose close by so I can clear the clogs and also blow the hair off the clients neck U can also use a keyboard air duster in a can for cheap route but I highly recommend the compressor , if u spray w cool care and blow it out itll be ready to go Also the shorter blade one(old ones) are better and debulking and the longer ones are better for lining black or course hair 👍

after thinking buying it... i got the OG styliner 2... and want to try something new... and after reading ALL but very ALL comment under this post... i think is time for me to try something new with the babyliss that seem to be the leader in this game these day... hope i will not regret

I have about half a dozen corded andis outliners that are 20-30+ years old still going strong. The freedom of the cordless products is hard to give up, but their reliability has always been bad.

They made them look cheaper. The Clipper and the blade were both engraved which showed a little bit of quality.. I just bought replica babyliss blades that were being sold as real. They’re easier to counterfeit with logos that are just printed on

Tank I think from looking through the comments a lot of the younger guys are all about cool looks and stuff, there is no need for andis to switch up how the tool looks, andis is the holy grail company of clippers. These hit like a hot knife through butter, and I personally prefer a heavier trimmer because the weight makes it feel more secure in my hand.

These always snag for me when balding. I don’t use at all anymore honestly. I bought the philthy blends attachment to put the goldFX blade on it.

The reason the gtx snags is because the tension from the spring isn’t tight enough to the blade I bend my springs back a little for tighter tension now the EXO is my favorite trimmer

Yo tank. I was messin wit my barber bros andis gtx evo n i swapped the cutting blade from the silver gtx blade and set them not fully zeroed and bruh .....they hit hard !!

I’ve got the original one a next mate in has one the owner of our shop has one we can’t get any to cut We put more tention on the blades by bending the springs. We changed the blades. Waste of money

The only thing keeping andis relevant is probably still being able to sell the cordless masters even though they last like 3 months before they turn into a 1997 Honda civic. Their downfall is making new things that stink and recreating old items that also kind of stink, they really need to hit the drawing board and create something that barbers actually desire.

Andis, Wahl’s, oster, are relics, and in 10 years we won’t even know who they are. Even though Stylecraft uses some manufacturer from China they still put out the clippers. You can get it straight from the manufacture if you want. I’m fabulous as well. Sean will have another clipper company that will takeoff and innovate.

There’s no point using them anymore. You can use a tiny flex trimmer from Stylecraft or even the new rebel and you can have hitters that pulled out and they have to size. Get those big clunky VCRs out of here.

No they haven’t. Half their lineup with a power button not switch will fail eventually. That’s their number one problem. Not saying andis is the better option but stylcraft has not taken over. Not yet at least

they made em cheaper lol! they look the engraving away and made it black writing that will fade off over time and! they took the gold plate off the charger and again just gave you a cheap andis symbol that will defiantly wear off over time the first model is defiantly more premium. i fee like thoes changes were made to cut costs on their end so they can make more money ridiculous.....

la marca Andis (( ó mas bien el CEO )) perdió mucho terreno en el tema de sus maquinas que utilizamos los barberos, y no es en un solo producto; es en todos sus productos que ya no tienen mayor innovación o generar grandes expectativas mejores que las de antes tenían para ofrecer al mercado tan competitivo que es el de hoy. ya comprar la marca es pensarlo tres o cuatro veces antes de hacerlo pues la competencia tiene algo mejor y/o mejor precio que ofrecer

Babyliss hit the ground running with good Clippers and trimmers but the look of them is what really sold them. No other company has put out as many color options or the option to customize so babyliss stomped over the game by default.

Bought these and immediately got rid of them. They felt slow and battery wasn’t great. Worst of all was the blade. idk what they did with it but it was the worst trimmer blade I’ve ever used. I’ve never really had any problems with blades some hit better than others obviously but these were TRASH. Couldn’t even do a line up around the ear without pulling and getting clogged. Never will buy Andis again. Honestly surprised they’re in business still
