Susanna White did one hell of a job directing this one. The slow burn really paid off. This is the only show right now that gets my whole attention.

This episode built tension beautifully. It left you not knowing how things might go down. The music and overall tone helped build the tension. Even though you could tell that something might go wrong...you couldn’t tell what it would be. The ending was surprising but not in a cheap way...not just a trick ending...it made sense and leads to more...absolutely brilliant!!

One of the best Star Wars 'things' I've watched. Edge of my seat, even though the plot's end result was what I expected; it still surprised me. 11/10

There was no way he could have trusted Skeen after Skeen spoke of taking off with the money. Skeen exposed himself as a liability to Andor who is already not a trusting person.

Andor inspires in it's themes and dialogue. It always builds the tension with it's score and pacing and just breaks your heart with it's acting and with the passion put in by all the cast involved.

Crisp, clean breaks; built up tension rising throughout; Twists, betrayals, LUVIT.

16:40 I think that is the point of Luthens Character in this show. He is the person pulling the strings and from what I can see from his actions so far, he doesn't actually care that much about the people he "hires" to do the work (as long as the work is complete). He is a person that really passionately fights the empire but doesn't care how (like Saw)

Tony Gilroy really knows how to visualize space scenes really well between the battle in Rogue One and this episode... Damn I just want Tony Gilroy making space movies from now on

This was the most tense episode of anything star wars i can remember, i was literally white-knuckle gripping my chair throughout, cant wait to see what comes next, and how Andor gets hooked back up with the rebels

This episode, in my opinion, is the best star wars that we've seen in a while and quite possibly the best 50 minutes of star wars to date. Ever since I saw Rogue One I always said that Cassian should get more stories, I thought a splinter cell type game would have been cool but this show is excellent. I can't help but wonder, however, what it would be like with a Jedi in a more gritty star wars show like this.

The slow burn with eps 4&5 definitely paid off, I was just as tense as you two! And I'm glad Andor waxed that backstabbing Skeen!

I was pretty sad about that one dude's betrayal. His "I used to hate the Empire... I don't really know what to call how I feel now" line really won me over. Bastard haha

This was the best episode, yet. Sad but also exillerating episode. Also an amazing episode in the best product in Star Wars franchise in our opinion. We want everything in this franchise to be as well crafted as this TV series is. They stole 80 million credits. That is what Skeen said. Cassian will eventually read Nemick's manifesto...and it will change his life. Cannot wait till NEXT week. This is going to be a really LONG week. Yikes.

Poor kid survived all of the Imperials just to be crushed by success, literally! That's some poetic irony. Does Cinta just stay there though? In the Lion's Den? Feel like she could've been on the ship, but then Skeen probably wouldn't have tried an out. Cassian was smart to shoot him though, how would Skeen leave the moon if he 'can't fly the freighter'? It would've been a trap.

That cosmic spectacle even made me tear up a bit. Man I love Star Wars so much

So glad someone else picked up on that romance between Vel and Cinta! Maybe it's because I'm lesbian, but I was like "wait...sharing a blanket with someone...then that super charged moment...it has to be them..." hoping we get a confirmation at some point.

I loved Vanessa's emotional, anxious reactions to the heist.

Usually an exciting heist or an episode likes this usually means that could have been the finale! The fact that we still get 6 more this episode was unbelievable! Really s ad that Nemic (sp) died I also heard K2SO when he said climb! What an incredible episode!

Practically every reactor I've seen expected Nemik to die (I expected it too, though I was rooting for him to live and see his growth as he becomes jaded with the rebellion not being idealistic and clean). But still, the show surprised us because he didn't die in a firefight or because of betrayal. He died because of shitty happenstance once they'd already "won". I love this show.

Much deserved shoutout to the TIE pilots. Propaganda or not, it takes a special kind of courage to fly into an asteroid shower in unshielded ships that don't have even life support-- and they almost caught up to them as well. The robbery went away with about 80 million credits. For comparison, a Venator-class Star Destroyer costs 60 million.

This episode had me on the edge of my seat. I was nail biting for this crew. I love the gritty vibe of this show. This show deserves more attention. The cast is killing it so far!

The Ahldanis and the Empire's dismantling of them slowly is an allegory for the treatment for Native peoples. Even talking about offering them alcohol to distract them from finishing the trek, playing into the unfortunate alcoholism percentages of natives

I'm pretty sure Imperial retaliation will include Maeeva, (hope not but they got few targets to use their anger on), also he was seeking her sister since ep1., guess who's got connections to find her.... And in the meantime Andor got some reading to do.... Also the white haired ISB officer girl will want to push for more info, the other's will want the hunt for themselves and deny it, and my bet she will contact an information source they can't restrict her access to.: the fired corp officer, with info in his head. He can be a mindwashed, trully evil (i.e. dedicated) ISB agent....... Wonder if Cinta just walked out of the base.... she was quick to shoot the imperial engineer, she is full of hate, she might even shot the family..... (hope not). Poor natives gonna be oblierated, and they will shot it through Cinta's eyes who is left behind at the planet. Also the Rebellion rises.... got more money........ need to hide it in charity organisations, etc.... Hope Bail Organa will show up too......This is how it all began.......

Six episodes in and you still have not grasped that Cassian Andor wants *nothing to do with the rebellion.* Not only is he *not* a believer in any cause other than himself and his family, he had to be bribed an enormous sum and have his options running out to even take this job.

Honestly, this is the only episode of this show I have liked thus far. Glad others are enjoying it, but the pacing to get here has felt glacial.

Well hot damn, that was a hell of an episode. After the slower build up over the last couple of weeks (not necessarily a complaint) I was really hoping it'd pay off, and I can't say I'm disappointed.
