I cried at the beginning with grieving B2EMO and again at the end with grieving Cassian. It shows the raw shock of death in both cases. What a show.

Unfortunately this show was always meant to be a short series. They already confirmed season 2 will be it’s last because after the events of season 2 the show will have caught up with the starting events of Rogue One.

I'm convinced Luthen is a former Jedi. His entire manner, his calm under pressure, his tactics, his ability in hand-to-hand combat and flying, his blue khyber crystal. He said he's been doing this for 15 years which means he started after Order 66. It all adds up to Jedi in hiding.

Looks like the proverbial shit is going to hit the fan in the next episode, with all sides converging on Ferrix. Will Cassian be captured again? I hope not, but damn, that would be a hell of a way to end season one! I've been telling my friends that this is the best Star Wars show yet (and better than most of the recent movies too) "even though it doesn't have any space battles" and then damned if they don't have one of the COOLEST space battles of all time in this episode! This show continues to exceed itself every single week.

For anyone who enjoys clever cinema. "One Cut of the Dead" It's perhaps the best Wow! What the Heck did I just watch piece of filmmaking in the past 10+ years. Best to go into it knowing nothing. It's such a gem of movie making that you will kick yourself if you looked it up online and ended up spoiling even a sliver of what this movie is. Only advice, set your viewing to Japanese dialogue with English subtitles.

I think I care more for Maarva and B2EMO than I ever cared about any other characters in the sequels or the prequels. This writing is amazing. I've been a Star Wars fan since '77 when I was 9 years old. This is the series that my adult self has wanted ever since then.
