Luke was trying to give Fili some solid veteran advice about being a sniper. Luke is right, and comes from a camp with 5x UFC champs so he knows a thing or two about being strategic to get to the title. He wasn't trying to tell him to go pick the hardest or biggest fight, but rather to choose the best stylistic matchups to ladder his way up towards the title.

I met Luke in Honolulu back in 2011-12 ish when he was still a champ at Strikeforce at a bar on a beach I used to work at. He legit just got done surfing and walked in with some his friends and started ordering drinks. This was at 1 in the afternoon when it was obviously still pretty slow and within 20 min it became packed. Half of the crowd was hot girls that had no clue who he was and thought he was a actor 😂

i don’t really understand andre in the last 20 minutes, if his main focus is pulling together a win streak, wouldnt the easiest way to get that streak be picking and choosing your opponents, ones that compliment your style? why not do both? why would you not care who you get if you’re trying to tie wins together, if u don’t care who you fight, the UFC won’t either

Sean wins. Sean has leveled up exponentially since they fought, LEVELS. Win or lose, Yan brought him somewhere that I don’t think Chito can, and he still performed at a masterful level. Chito has arguably gotten worse, based on his last performance, although I know how the fight game works and that could have been anything, but also, you’re only as good as your last fight. I love Chito, but I really don’t see him beating Sean this time.
