Up until about 1984 Andre was an absolute monster a force of nature. He could move his strength was incredible. Early Andre was the best

@@wilco8729 as for his physical abilities yes early Andre was better... By 1987 WrestleMania 3 he was very limited, and by his final matches in Japan In 1991 he could barely stand or walk.

His 15 year undefeated streak as a singles competitor, will never ever be broken. He's the Wilt Chamberlain of wrestling!! Big Show and Khali were the closest thing to him far as size. They didn't call him "Boss" for nothing.. Incredible human being!! 🇺🇸 1st 4ever

I have many fond memories as a kid in the 1970's waking up to watch the WWF Saturday mornings. You never knew who was going to come out or what was going to happen. Andre was always a favorite of mine. Chief J Strongbow was another fan favorite.

@@ajjy1110At Wrestlemania 3, he was at least 2.10 meters tall, at least 15 cm taller than Hogan, who at that time should have been at least 1.95 meters tall. What happens with André is that his head was very large, so when a tall wrestler stood next to him, the height difference was not so evident. 1987 André wasn't the tallest version, and yet he should have been 6'10"+.

Andre The Giant should have stayed a baby face while he was in the WWF instead of turning heel. He deserved to beat Hulk Hogan for the WWF Championship at Wrestlemania 3 and to be able to retire as the Champion. With his health issues and what he has done for wrestling Andre deserved it. RIP Andre! You may be gone but you will never be forgotten!

Also, yes there were times André delivered a closed fist to an opponent. In his heel Heenan family days he'd use closed fist. I can particularly remember against the Ultimate Warrior

I truly enjoyed the shorts of his career. Looking back this man was amazing in more than one way . But then again I may just be biased in 1978ibecame Mrs Andre Rene Rouimoff.

The mountain of a man who climbed the greatest mountain of adversity and yet *somehow* only held the actual world title for a *miniscule* amount of time... Powerful, most of all by the virtue of his kindness, rather than his physique... Undeniably the GREATEST wrestling legend of all time, and in my opinion one of if not THE greatest loss suffered during my lifetime... Over 7 feet tall and weighing in at 500 pounds... The Eight Wonder of the World... ANDRE... THE GIANT!! Rest ye well, hero. In my mind, YOU were always the TRUE People's Champion. And in a way, you always will be... ... Because there can never be another one quite like you. 😿
