If only andrea could have seen the tears his parents shed ver that letter.his dad wanted him to be independent scared he may not be good enough to stand place of being a singer.his mother was hurting with so much love for both I hope his dad got to see how famious his son got.how hes not just a singer hes unique

What a tribute to his father who made him what he is today. With love and encouragement from his mother.his father was afraid he wouldnt make it so he wanted him to have a profession to fall back on.its a shame his dad didnt live long enough to see the fame.

He shares his whole life with those of us who want to know it which is by the millions. What a remarkable man. The great parenting he got from his beautiful parents he passes onto his own children. There is no finer gift than great parenting.

So true marsha I didn't have good parents but it mLes you determined to be a good parent to your own andre was not spoilt and neither are his children I don't know where I went wrong with mine.i think money changed mine ukthey never wanted for anything but they wanted it all uk

this video is by far my favorite already because I love this man who sings wonderfully well but it's especially for the passage when he sings for his dad and he cries... What a great love he got from both parents his dad was scared for him giong into singing as there was 100s of great singers at that time.so out of respect he pleased his dad. But now he knows the fear he had for his son.as he also had for mateo. His mother so much love and andrea said becoming a lawyer he uses for his own busness so as lonely as it was being sent away to a blind school has helped him tremendously in his independence. All my love to his late father a strong loving man and his beautiful mum.I ENVY HIM SO MUCH GREAT PARENTS I NEVER HAD BUT I WAS A GREAT MUM TO MY THREE.YET TWO GIRLS GREW UP SELFISH AND HAVNT SPOKE TO US BOTH FOR YEARS.I WILL NEVER KNOW WHY.BUT IM NOT BEGGING ANYMORE IM 71 AND MY CONCIENCE IS CLEAR.YES TEARS COME BUT I KNOW I DONE MY BEST UK

I love the life story of this wonderful Singer,Andrea Bocceli. He is and was a very brave man to continue the desire to live the life as in the Sinatra song,”My Way”. He brought much joy to those most fortunate to see and hear him sing as no other could do, in my own opinion. Now, as the years go by,I find much comfort in listening to his singing. He not only sings the song-he becomes the song with deep emotion.God Bless him and his wonderful loving family-his Sons & Daughter & his very loved wife. What a marvelous gift he has given to us all.
