@Christina: Children do not automatically inherit talents from their parents. Some do, some don't, it's a simple fact. He has a better than average voice but i wonder what Simon Cowell would say about it. Please keep in mind that without his father's notoriety, he would not even have a shot to be on this platform. Practice and effort can take you so far but without REAL talent, you'll never "shine" at the top. It's not discouraging when you tell the truth to someone. It's simply saving everyone a lot of wasted time and effort... Not everyone can be a doctor, astronaut, quantum physic scientist or a singer.... Your brother never learned this humbling lesson and that is the sad part about this story.

Do not imagine, make sure to try and make it to Andrea Bocelli's live performance somehow. I honestly can tell you, it was one of the most amazing live performances I have ever attended. And if I ever given opportunity to go again, I will without even shadow of doubt.

I was fortunate enough to have had the chance to see perform Andrea. The seats were not the best and the weather was lousy but when he started singing, none of that mattered. If you ever have the chance, take it.

Matteo is so handsome. Looking at him brought an image to my mind of old photographs of another 21-year-old, also thin and handsome but born 78 years before Matteo, my father who passed away 16 years ago. He, too, had a lovely voice. He and my mother (who left this world 6 years ago) taught us to love music. I'm recalling times we sang together and my tears are flowing. I miss them so much. I've loved Andrea for many years, and I'm happy that he can have the joy of singing with his children (see videos with Virginia).

I started watching, but then closed my eyes and just listened - it was the amazing, beautiful festival I had hoped for. Departed to another place entirely; Andrea's & Matteo's voice together was a real treat! Either alone are entirely magical, and singularly so powerful and emotive it almost made me weep! Me too for so,so many years. I first heard Andrea sing with Sarah, IT'S TIME TO SAY GOODBYE. I absolutely love it. It was many years ago. Now we have the wonderful experience of seeing and hearing his handsome son singing with his fantastic father. Mateo is getting better and his voice is getting stronger.Just 💖to hear them together 👍👏

From another’s singers point of view, Matteo seems pretty nervous. Honestly what I think could help that is just remember the emotion that this song is meant to portray, and make yourself grasp that emotion, and not worry about what is happing next after the song

Andrea is SO PROUD as he should be. His son has a beautiful voice. Nobody rivals Andrea but you can tell his son has some of his dad in him for sure. What an honor for both men.
