Can we talk about the fact that he did this all in one take though? People take skills like his for granted and have no idea how difficult it is to play with this level of dexterity and precision. As a lifelong guitar player who’s never come close to this level, I am in awe.

This just goes to show how fresh classical still is. The melodies are immortal. It's just the instrumentation that feels alien and boring to many people. That's because they're unfamiliar with it. It's good that someone cares to explore the riches of classical thorough modern means.

thats what great compositions do. to the brain i mean. i had the same experience listening to this again, even though having heard the same notes played at the same time by different people. now played on guitar, i hear notes and buildups that strike different. they emote. its just great, and he did an amazing job with it. its goign in my favourite list for sure.

Classical boring, is just a misconception and prejudice. Is way more interesting that nowaday pop, which certainly I can't hear... I try, but all I feel is that I can getn cancer from it. No stimulating, not melodic, equal rythm, booorrrrinngggg..... Good luck there is a spotify so I submerge myself in different genres daily, including metal and classical
@leothepumpkin2298
@leothepumpkin2298 Жыл бұрын
To be honest though, the "classical" instruments are much more versatile than electric band. For example, even with a string quartet, in hands of Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Dvorak up to Shostakovich it's just so different from each other.

Don't even get me started on your tasty interpretive style through such a wildly wide range of musical genres and eras. You make me forget how jaded I've become with my own instrument, and reminded me how it's not about what you do, but how and why you do it... the expression. You made my list of faves brother.
