Most people don't know, but Rodrygo has performed and mostly OUT of position at Madrid. His prefered position is actually LW. And when he plays there, he is just as good as Vini.

Saka has a great left foot & is more of a natural RW but Rodrygo's natural talents with his close control dribbling, his touch & can even drop deep to link up, create a tempo & build up... this quality on a player, you don't see it. Saka cannot learn or do what Rodrygo, Rodrygo adapted to many versatile roles cause he was younger than Vini & Vini established himself on LW. But it's really funny the way he was laughing & looking at Joel with Saka over Rodrygo. It would be even funnier cause I bet Arsenal fans would take Saka over Vinicius Jr.

Like nearly all of his teammates there is one aspect of Saka's game where he's come on leaps and bounds under Arteta, and that's his diving. He doesn't necessarily do it better, he just does it a lot more often. That's where most of his injuries probably come from. Not knowing how to hit the deck without hurting himself.

Joel is not wrong saying that Saka has been a starter at Arsenal for 3 years, while Rodrygo has only become a starter this season. Saka scores between 11 and 14 goals in the league a season. Rodrygo scored 10 for the first time this season. It's not crazy to have that opinion
