Thank you for speaking to how women in western world have been placed in such a challenging place that creates excessive expectations leaving us in a place where Insecurities can thrive unless we are super grounded and have done enough work around creating security in self. ❤

You could say that, but there are plenty of pitfalls on that road too that leads to all forms of delusional and disconnected thinking and perspectives in your daily life. Have heard it discussed many many times by different teachers, students/ former students and critics. It takes a real dedicated master to master it 😁, to see through all the inner layers of deception from ego, patterns, upbringing. They will all try to take you off your course.

I don't even know how I got to this podcast. I have been stuck inside my own head. I am tired of my mind set. I've repeatedly and constantly have the same thoughts since I was a child. I think of death alot. But only because I'm unfilled with in my own spirit. I've never wanted a religion but a connection to the universe. I can not see myself and I don't remember what I looked like or moments. When I close my eyes to see myself as a child there's darkness. No one believes when I say I can't remember. I've isolated myself from people I grew up with or my ex's because I hate for people to ask me do you remember? I'm locked inside my own mind on repeat cycle of painful memories. Don't remember Christmas or birthday. I do remember being molested and raped as a child. Growing up there was always a grown man touching me inappropriately. My mother's boyfriends, my dad friend, step brother. Domestic and family violence. Being beaten and starved by step mom. At 15 I was with a 27 yr guy. Mother was on drugs dad was military. I can not concentrate to read and remember. There's a blockage

@@72dee I know it can be painful, but why don't you start writing about this, it ça help a lot of people in the same situation. It could be a novel about your life, fragments and how you overcame, you did it, you are still here looking for something, wanting to thrive, like everybody else, and your voice can be the remedy for you and others. I wish you the best!

Peter speaks eloquently, and obviously verbal language is his primary thinking operating system, as it is for most people, probably. But we also think and communicate with ourselves and others through images, sensations, emotions, energy, and non-verbal sounds. We can remember, imagine, think, and experience without words.

Best interview with Peter I’ve heard thus far. If there’s one thing that didn’t resonate with me, it’s the interviewer’s question posited that “Peter works with successful people as well as ordinary people”. With all due respect, that’s the meat of the whole conversation: we are all equal and not separate. The belief in the different degrees that Andre points out, is the cause of suffering. It’s all make believe !!!

Our inherent value is all equal, but if you don’t strive towards over the ideal and you settle for mediocrity, then you are going to be labelled as ordinary. If you have an immense level of self belief and consistently take action towards your dreams that is going to separate you from “ordinary people“

Just love your work Peter! I have only recently had you cross my path on my KZfaq feed…. I listened to my first podcast with you … & I was hooked… maybe addicted lol 😂… What hit me the most was the deep connection to how you speak & articulate your journey…. As it resonates very deeply within me on my own personal journey of unlearning everything I thought I was. So much of my answers have Come in a spiritual manner of lighting bolt strikes (on the back of my head) as well as a few four by 2’s as well… Life is our greatest teacher & gratitude with grace for all it has given me is my greatest strength as I would not be where I am in myself if it wasn’t for the process life took me on & the inherent trust I placed in the journey. You have connected a few things with me as I listened to others unpack their stuff… but I know daily that I have still so much to learn. The greatest gift we can give to ourselves is to know thy self deeply… what I have found is the deeper we know ourselves, the deeper we understand others…. Which leads to a deep compassion… like you I just love people & want them to feel the beauty of inner peace that comes with knowing no matter what, you will always be ok, regardless of the circumstances. The trust is beautiful & best bit is I know I am my own best friend. So grateful that even though I do not personally know you… I share this space with you…. As I feel a connection that is beautiful. Bless you & your continued journey helping many. 💜

Our subconscious beliefs are created during our childhood. We assume certain truths about ourselves and our reality which we could not understand at the time. The most important part of discovery of subconscious beliefs is going back to the childhood and understanding those situations. The mind will present the exact memory we need to look at. That’s where the freedom comes from.

Finally! I have really fallen in love with listening to podcasts however whenever I find a topic of interest and someone who truly inspires me, I listen to podcasts they've been invited to only to find out that the host asks the same questions and therefore I hear the same answers over time. This is incredibly frustrating when you become fascinated by a topic. I can't tell you how grateful I am that this truly wonderful host that is Andre asks completely different questions which go so much deeper and reveal so much more wisdom! HURRAY! Thank you, THANK YOU, THAAAANK YOOOUUUU! I await more episodes with baited breath! I think that because we're all at different stages of awareness of life, there definitely needs to be more diversity when it comes to podcasts. If I'd listened to this 2 years ago, I probably would have thought it was gobodigook because I simply wouldn't have been ready to receive this information. So happy that this content has found me and that have found you at this time in my life!

Discover freedom from what tho? Are we not always free? Our true nature is always free of course but boy does it get hidden by attachment to the mind and all the stories and narratives of it. I constantly forget and believe I am the mind and it’s contents. No escape is possible from an imaginary place and yet we must escape 😂 Spiritual life is crazy but I love love love it. I AM DYING OF EMOTIONAL PAIN. THE GRIEF AND TERROR ARE ALL-CONSUMING. I desperately want to escape the pain that I'm in: debilitating paralyzing all-consuming hyperventilating panic and grief... the guy I called my best friend, ended up raping me. he violently brutally viciously maliciously raped my soul. abandoned and betrayed me. and now I don't breathe. last year he ruined christmas-time for me, and now he's ruined my winter and spring. I'm dying inside. desperately trying to remember this: ✨💖✨ I was created from all light, for I am light, I fear no darkness. for being light I can see beyond darkness 💫

Interesting conversation. When it comes to babies, I am of the mind that they experience pain, but absolutely do not suffer. The dividing learn where pain turns into suffering occurs when one identifies with their pain, internalizing the discomfort and making it "my pain" that turns it into suffering. This actually is an incredibly interesting thing to think about, though, as even in the case of a house pet, studies have found giving the animal a name significantly increases the chance that it will Eventually become capable of passing the mirror test, Or some other similar test of self awareness, and thus, be what we would consider self aware, and even have the capacity for suffering. The biggest thing language actually did to humans comema though, isn't just how it changed the way we sync and interact with one another, but it made huge, sweeping changes to the actual topology of our brains

Hopelessness is the perfect word. I practice seeking positivity and visualizing all the good things I'd like to see in my life, but I just seem to be in a low vibration chapter at this moment. But I will never give up until I've reached levels of enlightenment I dream about. I hope the same for you my friend! Sending you an abundance of loving and prosperous energy!
