And what’s weird about it, I’ve noticed channels will cover the same topics at the same times. Like multiple channels will make a video about the same throwback race within a week of each other, or all are in sync making videos about the same topic at the same time so you get three different videos on the same day covering the same thing. It goes beyond breaking news and other information that is relevant that you’d expect them all to cover at the same time (like race reviews) but even their videos covering random topics it’s like they convene and chose which topic to cover in what order. Really bizarre

Going by this year CGR = Red Bull, Andretti = Ferrari, Penske = Mercedes, McLaren(Indy) = Aston Martin, RLL = Alpha Tauri, Foyt = Williams, Meyer-Shank = Haas, Juncos = Alpine, ECR = McLaren(F1), Dale Coyne = Alfa Romeo Does that sound about right?

@@tiadaid yeah man, like... If you didn't know how exciting it is to see Alonso on every podium this year vs the RNG that is almost any other series. The point of F1 is not to fuel our bloodthirst, and that's why Indy fits so well in modern racing lol.

I do like that Grosjean thought he was going to walz over to america and become the Lewis Hamilton of Indycar and 2.5 years later were sitting at zero wins and 2 or 3 podiums and he gets outclassed by 40 year olds like Dixon and Powers who never even got so much as an F1 test session.

After getting sick of Redbull’s dominance in F1 it’s refreshing to see the more competitive scene in Indycar. Started watching it seriously this year and I’ve loved it!

@@thekamikaze789 I watched when Merc was dominating. It bothered me then too. The nature of F1 means that for most seasons there will always be a dominant team and for me personally that just makes for boring racing. The drivers in F1 are so good at there craft but I feel as though their influence isn’t as great as in Indycar. I like to follow the drivers more than the builders so Indycar has become much more fun for me to watch than F1.

Great video! And between the F1 race and this one, this one was better. Like this race was seriously fun. Road America is my favorite Indy track, has been since I was a little kid. Some of the greatest racing I've ever seen has been Indy cars at Road America. Seriously, I was thinking over the weekend how I'd love to watch the race with someone from Europe who's never seen Road America before, just for the excitement. And as for Will Power, his anger management issues have been well documented for years. For those of you who are new Indy car followers, yes this is a regular trait of his.

Indy is just a good time, entertaining factor through the roof. I love F1 but c’mon it’s Redbull,Aston ( despite Stroll ) and Mercedes, again F1 is just different, I love it cause of the engineering and I’ll admit, at times the politics are pretty entertaining as well. Indy for the racing, F1 for the technology

Came from the 1996 running of this race (which was batshit nuts from green to checker), and I'm glad to see the 2023 running is absolutely awesome. Seems like every year, Elkart Lake delivers. Ever thought of doing old school Indycar races, a la Cleveland 95, Elkhart 96, Vancouver 97 et al?

I’ve been a race fan of all types racing, however in my 35 plus years of watching (and club racing) I’ve never seen so many red flags. From F1, MotoGP, INDYCAR etc etc. All for safety of drivers, marshals, ERV’s but used to be handled by yellows is now reds. Which kills pace.

I ragged on Roman about flying the pride colors on his car at Indy instead of backing the Veterans of America ans said it will come back and bite hin in the butt before the the 500. And he has crashed in every race after I said that! God has a strange way of working! He was my favorite driver until he flew the colors! We all fall under one flag the American flag and him flying them colors on Memorial day was a slap in the face to all us Veterans! I lost all respect for him!

Pedersen is not Dutch. He is Danish. So is Lundgard. Rosenqvist and Ericsson are Swedish. Sweden is north of Denmark, where Danes live.

@@Posirep I knew his mother was Danish and that he was eligible for a Danish passport, but I didn't know he had one yet. I'm glad. I recommended to Bus Bros that they use Danish, Swedish and Norwegian ladies to talk in their native languages (say things like foot perspiration, ruggedly handsome and devilish hair), and then have Josef and Scott guess which languages that they are speaking, but they haven't done such a segment. Honestly, I think Grosjean is still one of the fastest drivers in IndyCar, a perfect fit for Andretti and is first win is getting closer, even though his early F1 background isn't giving him the respect he deserves. However Road America was an absolute shit take from Romain.

Except for the standard Chassis, Aero and engine, what really annoys me at indycar is that teams aren't mandated to have recognisable liveries. Green car and blue car don't scream teammates to me... F1 has solved that better.

Its a financial thing. Teams need money to operate. If they made everyone have matching liveries they'd have about 5 cars in the field.

@InvisibleTeeth So do F1 teams. So do WEC teams. Still, all of them have Team Liveries with Sponsoring. An F1 teams Budget just for R&D and Racing activities, not including investments and facilities is 140 million Euros. And they get by fine with team liveries. So I guess indycar would do too. I would argue matching, elegant team liveries would raise sponsor appeal cause it looks better. Cleaner.

@TheNecromancer6666 I think you REALLY underestimate how little money IndyCar generates. The entire IndyCar field operates on about half of 1 F1's team budget. Youll have 1 car in a team have about 7-8 different liveries/sponsors in a season cuz theyll take any funding they can get. No teams are getting funding for full seasons on multiple cars. Its either several different sponsors on a car or no car at all. WEC cars tend to be manufacturer supported so obviously they have matching liveries.
