The last three minutes from 6:00 to 8:55 are so freaking beautiful. I love this video so much because it really shows the level of brilliance and soul Bird puts into his work. Music without soul isn't worth listening to it, and Bird's soul really shines. He's like the bad scientist of music, and I respect him so much for it.

You don’t understand the process I went to find this song that I randomly thought of out of the blue from years ago in 5 minutes lol. I went “Owen…Pallett?” Then I typed “Owen in Cathedral with Violin” “Man in cathedral with Violin singing” “Man singing while holding violin in cathedral” “man plucking violin in guitar and singing” “man whistling while plucking violin” 🗿 then something clicked and I remembered the words An-non-animal and I went on google to search “anonanimal lyrics?” And google felt bad for me and handed everything to me instantly lol 😭🎀

I'm an atheist who sees God in the beauty of man. There is God in that chapel, whether you are religious or not, the creation of man in the house of the Lord is moving beyond what any beliefs you may hold. To me that is God, the movement of the heart through the worldly and earthbound. I don't want to start a religious debate, as I said, I'm an atheist; but consider beauty and love the highest pursuit of man and feel this move you and let your heart decide if you agree or not.

You're far too open minded to label yourself as simply atheist. I really appreciate your unbiased objectivity. It's really refreshing, especially among the hovel of trolls that is KZfaq's user-base. I was indoctrinated with the belief that "God is love". The notion of caring for someone else in a manner that distinguishes us from instinct-based animals is truly a wonder. You don't have to believe in the traditional omniscient God to understand that there is something special within us.
