Astrology claims that the position of the planets/stars during our birth, and throughout our lives, affect us. On the surface this seems to be a rather harmless claim, because obviously they don't affect us. But astrology, like any other pseudoscience, promotes anti-science and anti-intellectualism. This mentality can lead to other dangerous ideas/beliefs such as anti-vaccination nonsense. The belief that our lives is somehow controlled and affected by forces not in our control. This can lead people to either not take responsibility for what they do or to shift blame and make excuses for not trying. You're literally judging someone based on their birthdate, which is nonsense. Also, astrologers are some of the most lethargic and con-artists in the world, making money out of gullible people by making vague predictions which are mostly inaccurate.
