Having lost the keys to their car and the closest support base too far away, Andrew and Jacqui find themself stranded. They decide to keep prospecting until help arrives but things keep getting worse, they are in limestone country and not gold country so the chances of finding anything worth their time are slim.

Even though this is part Hollywood fake, who hasn't lost their keys, or accidentally locked them in the car. Newer vehicles don't allow that, but they are more computers now than vehicles.

Actually you can find gold all over, not like hitting a vien next to quartz out west, but you can find trace amounts in nearly all bodies of water on Earth. Streams and rivers are easier because the current can deposit it. It's not normally worth panning for. I do believe this is Hollywood 😂
