A day before flying to Liverpool for the Eurovision 2023, Andrew Lambrou visited Kathikas and Peyia to see for the first the birthplace of his family. An emotional day he will never forget!

It's amazing that he got to see his family's hometown for the first time. And I hope he will improve his Greek soon :) It's nice that he's at least trying and could say his coffee is μέτριος :D Would really love to hear him singing in Greek one day!! Eurovision brought me here to this video. I'm from Hong Kong, living in Czech Republic. And I'm learning Greek X (Τώρα σπουδάζω ελληνικά και πήγα στην Ελλάδα και Κύπρο. Πήρα κοριτσάκι μου με εμένα στην Ρόδο και επείσης της άρεσε πολύ. Θα πήγαμε ξανά.)

Sad that the parents didn’t teach him Greek. How can you abandon your roots so easily

The question is "How can you judge other people so easily?". His parents were born in Australia and we don't know the level of their greek either. There could be many reasons why he is not able to speak the language. Just concentrate on the positive and don't judge other people
