I saw a handsome actor at public event a couple years after his show had ended. He looked terrible. Or to put into perspective: he had to buy and maintain his clothes, he had to schedule and pay for his harlircuts/styling, he didn’t have control over the lighting, and he likely wasn’t wearing make-up. He also wasn’t speaking a writer’s (another expert) words. He had to find his own words. Shows have armies supporting them. Individuals have themselves mostly. Maybe a spouse. It’s no wonder a famous person doesn’t look as glamorous in real life.
