LOLOLOLLLL... got the data from varies of institutional hedge fund companies to have a reference esp that case at 7:58. May I say about that case -- Unbelievable Remarkable..

Thank you, and 699 other for being my audience. Your post does not adress the point I made, which was that he is wrongly attacking hedge funds, while hedge funds have not recieved taxpayer bailout money, unlike the large banking firms who royally fucked up

Prof Lo, most of these big funds you mention, like Paulson, have been absolutely destroyed in their performance recently.

If u listen carefully .. u will hear him saying that he was asked to talk about hedge fund, risk in hedge fund to be precise .. that's why, other financial institutions did not get priority in his talk... anyway .. I sincerely hope you do not work in finance .. :) If so, God help us!

He is a good professor who can deliver materials clearly as he did in his MIT lecture videos. However, he is also an informed investor for being a finance professor and owns an investment management firm called AlphaSimplex Group in which he is now the chairman and probably receives lots of money from it. I think he has connections with other large hedge funds and institutional investors through his own firm and therefore possesses information about them.
