Trinidad-born Joseph started his own company, Learie's Comedy Marathon, in 1995 after several years spent with the Trinidad Theatre Workshop. By then proving himself adept at both performing and writing, with a particular flair for comedy, he crafted dozens of skits that have over the years been performed by himself and his troupe regulars. Appearing in concert at venues all over Trinidad and Tobago as well as overseas, Joseph has seen his reputation as a comedy institution explode to outsize proportions, on the strength of the phenomenal crowd appeal that has now become synonymous with his shows. Clearly at the top of his game as a major comedic presence, he has taken his popular show to stages in the U.S., Canada and throughout the Caribbean.
