My wife worked filling Hallmark Cards on the weekends for a few hours while she stayed at home with our kids for 17 years. We made HUGE sacrifices for our kids, but they never saw one hour in daycare. Now she’s a dispatcher for our sheriff and enjoys it but it has its ups and downs, and there have been some really bad calls; people who were suicidal and an autistic son who accidentally drown. And I worked for years until I was married and I love being a stay at home mom, taking care of my home, taking care of my yard because my husband works that hard I do the yard work too.
