This show is so good I can't even figure out how it's made anymore. The seamless integration of the backing band both in skits and the songs has my head spinning for what order things had to be done in to make all these pieces fit. For the record Spacetime did the same thing to me haha.

I'm thinking they recorded the pedals and guitars with a metronome in their headphone monitors.. then they recorded drums and bass. Only way it would make sense to me considering they were improvising the guitar parts.

Having a third to lay a track on a blind collaborative, where each person starts a song idea on one instrument and the rest of the band lays down without any conversation where they think or want the song to go, could wildly alter the sounds, for sure.

You guys should do a head-to-head. Each of you gets the same 4 instruments with appropriate input, tuned and blended the same, and produces 1 song. Another show idea, similar, but each one of you lays down the next instrument track based on what the first person input. Switch which input goes first on different episodes. Do not talk with each other, no contact between the two except the track playbacks.

@@tmw3489 We the viewer get 2 different songs, from the same two people, built at the same time, across multiple instruments. On the "Blind Collaboration," they can only communicate what they would like through the instrument tracks. Trust me on this, if two artists could work to make quality tracks without talking, it's these two.

Andrew attempt to explain plasma is actually very accurate. Solids have the lowest intrinsic energy state, liquids follow, then gases, and plasma has the highest energies of any state of matter (state “beyond gas”). Basically the plasma petal is essentially a high voltage transformer arcing though a tube of gas.
