I love how more and more people are interested in fixing things for themselves and are ever increasing in the WHY does it work too. I remember burning my first cd-rom and saying I bet everyone with a computer will be doing this soon. My goodness, theyre obsolete in many areas already; as are DVDs. Region Locks just peaked peoples interest I guess. I recall lifting; removing, reading and re-writing 2x 48pin SM Atmel chips to put in my home made adapter for SM to DIL PIN CHIP Programmer, then reading and extracting that "Magic Number" from certain "Viewing Boxes" with disabled smart cards. Atmels were dodgy as they had 48 feet/pads per chip and you had to remove them and refit em perfectly. Not much was really known about err codes unless you did your own Trial and Error on purpose. Damn you BGA chips :-) I still recall powering them on after a refit. Is it is it is it is it...It is working...... Thats when real Flux pens worked way better than they do now. And were like £5 for 3 of the good ones.

You are the pro I wish to be! One thing I've done is take an old hdmi cable and cover it in heat resistant tape and insert that cable into the hdmi port. Makes it it easier to hold for removal and replacement.

Since you are working in the repair bussiness, my question to you is this: Which console was the most reliable and had the least amount of problems? To me is the Wii followed by the PS2, PS3, Xbox 360... you know something like that. My PS2's had problems but I always managed to get them fixed without any specialist tools. I am also an experienced electronics enthusiast. I wanted to get a PS4 for this Christmas but seeing your videos, scared the crap out of me, This Console is barely 2 years old and already has the most problems a console could have. I'm getting an Xbox 360 E and call it a day, lol

thx adrew for your help..now,if i found a dead pin or two pins dead in the port of the hdmi(in the board).do u think if i jump it with a little cable ,the problem of no signal finally despair? i wil test tomorrow,because my friend is out to the beach.look,we can find the problem,maybe is there,in the port.we change the filters,the panasonic ic,reballong the apu,and nothing.no signal.now i watch your other video then u made a jump to te hdmi port..i think the problem is there...sorry 4 my bad English..

Andrew,still I'm with white light ,change the chip panasonic,the filters,the ps4 boot just fine but.only have white ligth.which do you think is the problem.the port of the hdmi?

i have to said,this ps4 i buy from ebay with bad hdmi,but.when i recibe it have a pulising blue ligth.no safe mode,no nothing.we do a apu reballing,now boot fine.nothing on the screen.look,i am not a tech.i take this ps4 to a friend who have all the tools to do the work,i dont know if he lies to me to keep it my ps4.i watch your video and u easily resolve it..a have two hdmi ports news.never used..you think if i put 1 of this ports the ps works?? i never see him change the port.he only said to me he change... i am very despoint now.. :(
