Here we will see how to use Speech Input directly in our application without using a Dialog.
Here we will directly convert the speech to text and we will display the text in our EditText.

This is amazing - really easy to follow even for beginners. Initially I thought I'd made a mistake because the app wouldn't run but, as you say on your web page, the application settings page comes up because you have to set permissions to access the mic. Just thought this would be useful if any other noobs get stuck like I did :)

You need to go to your phone's settings > Apps and notifications > Apps > (Find your app by name and click on it) > Permissions > Enable Microphone

Great video, It has really helped me. Unfortunately I have a problem. When I run this app on my phone, everything is ok but I can't see the "Your text will be here" text. Button is working, I think, and is perfectly visible, but that text is not.

Nice video. I am asking those android studio coder, when we need to dial hands free call , type numbers by voice on a dial pad. such as utterance says "967" this number is must be written on dial pad and utterance says "call" , authomatically call for the number 967. any person can help me.

If you type "Sneh" then your application speak the each spell like S , N , E , H Also if you type "Utsav" then also it speaks one word not correct pronunciation If you can solve this then make video for it 👍
