Welcome to this Android SQLite Database Tutorial video. This video shows How to use SQLite with android on Android Studio. In addition we will be Creating Database and Tables in our SQLite database for use in our android SQLite database tutorial. Nice! But with one modification. New user, don't f..k around with FireFox, install DB browser for SQLite to see your database. Also, when you save your database from AndroidStudio to desktop or other part of your computer, save ALL files from AndroidStudio database. After that in DB browser open database.

Great work Sir however there is a problem in your code: You have to remove the function public void AddData and put the code inside in the constructor. In this example the function AddData is never executed.Thus, data wil not be inserted as well as the instructions related to the message will never be taken into account. Instead of checking db 19:12 thoroughly we can put toast in our constructor if that constructor will execute then toast will be printed successfully.....

You can notice it by looking on Android Studio version that he use. It was 1.0.1 and it was release on 2015 if I not mistaken

How come your main activity has already codes in it. You didn't explain briefly. You just jump right into DatabaseHelper Class and when you open MainActivity I have no idea what's going on. Can anyone explain this to me? First we open a blank activity and then jump right into creating DatabaseHelper class after he jumps back into MainActivity there's already codes in it.

If you're referring to the methods onCreateOptions menu and the other one, those are methods that are added by default if you choose to create basic activity instead of empty activity.

So Many Uncovered Things In This Video!! First of all you published this video in 2019 and you are using an outdated android studio. You are using ICE CREAM SANDWICH api that too is very old. being an ICE CREAM SANDWICH api your STUDENT.DB file was directly created in your local storage you didnt need to externally specify any permissions to write file on local storage. whereas since MARSHMALLOW api we explicitly need to give WRITE PERMISSION in the manifest so that it creates the STUDENT.DB file on your local storage. I never expected that you will use so much of outdated stuff which indirectly created problems building the app

I had to look it up too. There is "Device File Explorer" button at right bottom. From there, find the database and right click, "save as" to export to PC.
