if I get data from an API and just want to create a contact list with header alphabets of the first letter of a name. but excluded all other you did with the alphabets in this video. Please answer about which classes I'll ignore.

I just show you how to do sticky header, if you want make it work like your idea. You must sort your data and take it to each group ! Ex: all data start with letter 'A' will go to arraylist of letterA...etc

Thanks its very helpful for me. But here is one problem in this code. After capital Z the small alphabets data are there in sections.

I've another question, is possible capture the events of the navigation bar, like back button, home and recent apps to new buttons created for me? also, if this events can be captured, can be realize these functions from an app developed for me?

char name2 = tips.get(i + 1).getLeague().charAt(0); This line gives OutOfBounds Exception

There are 2 position you must check : 1. (i+1) => Check if it out of bounds length of array 2. charAt(0) => Check if it is empty string so it will doesn't have array

@@eddydn71 the method that returns the arrayList , if I want to return data from a response method how will I do it. It's returning null because after my for loop that adds the data to the arrayList it gets empty outside the loop so it returns null to the calling class which creates a IndexOutOfBounds exception. Can I email you so you show me what to do. Because am not explicitly adding data but getting from API
