I have used both android and apple and by far apple has had the best ways to customize your phone to your preference. I didn't mind my android when I had one but I won't ever regret the switch to apple. It has an easier operating system for me to understand. Just my preference.

Apple is so locked-in. You can't use a custom launcher or even sideload apps.
