6 is excellent: cheap enough now for beginners, and powerful enough for commercial work. Using manual focus is the ' bread & butter'' for pros, it only takes a few hours of practice to nail focus artistically. We kept the Gh5 from 7 years ago as Panasonic are truly robust (unlike other brands that keep going back to repairs fro broken swivel and crashing shutter curtains).. Just add a good lens (25/1.2. 42.5, or 75) that's all you need

The colors are so beautiful on this camera, but the focus between 24 to 30 fps is pretty bad. It is not slow, but the accuracy is not good, I just tested some clips at 30fps and it's like the camera defocus when I begin to record. I use the zoom function to crop inside the image and it's like the focus is lost. In 60fps mode, there is no issue. Very odd.
