Great stuff! Where else could I use this or what else could I catch with this fly? I wish I could say that I was going bonefish fishing in the near future, but I am not. Would this work for snook or reds? How about water clarity, that water clarity looked super clear is that why it has so much flash? Thanks!

Scott M. Yes, yes and yes. We do tie a larger version that we use on snook and reds. Also a smaller version for carp. Thanks for watching!

Great looking fly. I was wondering about your hook choice as that Gamakatsu B10S is a freshwater hook. I have had freshwater hooks rust up in the box in humid areas. That hook really holds up?
@Madriveroutfitters
@Madriveroutfitters 2 жыл бұрын
We have never had a problem. Been using it about 10 years. Flip Pallot uses the same hook on all of his redfish flies.

Going to AIBC in March. I was told the gotcha is the only pattern to use there. Question, the arctic fox for the wing, wouldn't that make the fly buoyant? Thx Brian
@Madriveroutfitters
@Madriveroutfitters 4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. Pretty sure he wouldn't use it if it did? This is the only fly he has been using down there for nearly 15 years so we would assume it works well. You can e-mail or call him directly at the shop if you need to discuss further.

Brian, are you using the thick or thin Loon UV clear finish here? I know it is an old vid, but figured I would ask. Thanks

one request- put the material list above in the more section. sometimes I'll watch a tutorial, and then I forget a material and don't want to watch again. Even better- link the materials directly to your website
