top vid andy,im fairly experianced, but im 60 now, i simply expect to catch fish, ive stopped thinking about whats going on, barring grabbing me by the scruff of the neck, and shouting at me, you have woken me up a bit.

What make of expander do you find works best. Also I watched a short video from another Yorkshire angler who added a vegetable glycerine to his expanders, do you add anything.?

I made a pole cup with holes that take about 10 seconds for the average maggot to get out of them an drop onto my float perfect when your on the canal or matches when you want a couple maggits a minuit dropping onto the area without moving the rig

I loose fed 6mm expanders this year only for the reason I had a red letter day and they were all I had left and I didn't want to go home they pulled alot bigger stamped carp into the peg
