He appeals to both sides. He's respectful, calm, wholesome, and kind-hearted. He can really unite the country. I just hope he doesn't fall into the trap that many politicians do - let their ambitions get the best of them and lose their convictions in the process; they sell out to get ahead.

@@MR-sq8ez I like Andy Beshear. He's pragmatic. He doesn't have an axe to grind. And he would build the broadest coalition possible. Maybe he's the winner we need.

@@etchedinstone7562 The problem I see is the made up data, 'Record this an record that, and so forth when everybody capable of thinking can see and feel the borders are open, the inflation is high, mental and drug crisis are up and bad behavior are rewarded. Coalisions for what, compromising on the least common denominator? We could be way ahead culturally and as human beings if were not for demagogy. I'll keep praying.

I much prefer Governor Whitmer at the top of the ticket. She is electric. I do not agree with you that "he (Beshear) is by far the best candidate to replace Biden". As a Californian (who really dislikes Newsom and never voted for him), I do agree with you it would be a winning ticket. I like Beshear and have watched him the past couple years, but I love Whitmer. It is time for a female to lead this country. Not that that is a hugh issue for me, but I think she is the perfect candidate to finally break that glass ceiling.

@@hopespringseternal2624I also like Whitmer, but she seems to have a lot more haters than Beshear. I think he's by far a safer bet. Think about the effect someone like him could have on the congressional voting. I think identity politics is largely what's gotten us into this mess. We have to be aligned nearly 100% like the republicans are. No room for error.

He really fears her. She also would win one of the most important states: Michigan. She is a co-chair of Bidens national campaign, so she probably already is beloved by the delegates. Trump tried to have her kidnapped. She knows how to win against Trump because she already has. But it is not up to us, it would be up to the delegates. Biden almost chose her for VP but decided to go with Kamala, which was a gigantic mistake. Have a wonderful 4th of July!

I agree. California has degraded so much it will be an easy win for trump. He just points at the costs of living, homeless crisis, debt rising, theft and criminal numbers and that's it. No swing state as Michigan or Pennsylvania is going to vote for that dude. Beshear has the rural image, and Kentucky is doing really well. He could attract swing voters from the rural areas.

He wouldn’t win KY (Trump is even more popular there) but he’d do better than Biden in all swing states.

My friends in Kentucky all over the political spectrum love him. Not sure about healthcare, my assumption is that Kentucky works with the ACA/Obamacare like most states.

He is one of the best governors in KY. Being elected twice in the state where not that many wohkd vote Democrat. Tells a lot about his record. Lots of good things happen in KY during him being governor!

kentucky has always been a poor state. You say “so many murders in Louisville” yet it’s the biggest city that KY has lol. Larger population = more crime. Come on bobby. Louisvilles population is only increasing, it is very popular because it’s cheap.
