i envy him. i'm about his age when this was recorded. even though he was severly bullied and ostracized in his high school, he still got to go to a performing arts school in la. he had a passion. he knew what he wanted in life. he's had so much life to experience at just 24, and i'm just sitting here wondering how to pass the time..

We are all looking and commiting to our supposed "passions" because of people who went after theirs and succeeding within them. Listen man, i turned 20 and im transitioning to a future engineering diploma from a med school, having the toughest time and being objectively the worst among my colleagues. That's life, and sometimes a "fake it till you make it" thing is meant to last a bit. Hold on and keep rocking. I kinda went to far, haven't i ?

I love how he's so young in this. 15 years old and has so much wisdom beyond his years and now he's not in love with this girl. I believe he was 16 turning 17 when this was filmed, judging by the fact that it was originally filmed in mid-2007 according to the publisher who said they consulted Andy's dad about it. Regardless, He wrote this song at 15 I believe, which is extremely impressive given his age at the time.

he was just seveteen. but im so disaponted that i couldnt know him from the beginig , i feel like it would be wonderful to be his childhood friend. but not because his my hero and my fav performer but because he went through so much. he was a shy little boy who loved music, he became famous and started to be stronger but today he could look the exact same way with his big blue puppy eyes. now his a very strong grown man. im just sad that i couldnt be there.

I remember singing this song to my boyfriend at the time I worked really hard to learn it on guitar and get my voice right because I loved him that much after I sung it to him a week later he dumped me for 2 reasons: 1) he found another girl as he puts it put out more and had a nice rack. 2) he said I loved the guy who wrote the song more than him Here's the catch Andy and my bf could've been twins. I was 15, that was 4 years ago I'm in college now and just performed the song with some friends at open mic night at my school, that's the first time I've sung that song without having to stop because of me crying. This Song brings all that back for me.

I've gone through that feeling soooo many times. But don't do it. You'll regret it and there's no turning back. Just remember that you're not alone in this. Many people face the same challenges as you do. (: I still get that feeling sometimes though. But doing something I love helps me, and for me that something is listening to BVB.
