He told her ahead he came to play.....she was being super defensive screaming out her defense. That would disoriente anyone. If anyone was aggressive with her it was Andy, she just took out on Jeff........Bethenny has never been so sensitive......next time put her with someone she can mow down. That is what she is comfortable. She was wrong to speak so ill of him on her podcast.....it was very two faced.

That's why she never showed up to any of the big all city HW WWHLs or the OG WWHL...she wasn't gonna be around HWs from other cities whose weaknesses and arguing style she didn't know ...she was not about to chance being put on TV against someone like Kenya or Tamra or Phaedra and potentially get trumped for all to see..even on NYC, you could tell when she wasn't confident about the fight bc she'd get up and run. She's the only HW who never participated in those big HW events or will even be on WWHL with a HW from another city. I think someone like Kenya would demolish her...even someone like Tamra, because she'd whip out the hard facts that her NYC co-stars would never!

Let’s be real, Andy is used to the other housewives kissing his butt and he always has this aura that he’s smart than them. Bethany is not the one, she’s intelligent and not afraid to speak her mind. She’s not a dumb zombie and willing to defend herself.

I agree, and would add a control factor here. There are a few housewives that can and are actually thriving without being dependent on Andy and his franchises. Andy bates these people like using a carrot on a stick, but gets butt hurt when people like Bethany, LVP, Kandi, and whom ever show their own independence and have a popularity outside the franchise

Bethenny is not my favorite person, but she gathered those two misogynists in a heartbeat. Andy is just upset that Bethenny's net worth ECLIPSED his once she sold the Skinny Girl line and knows deep down that she's always been autonomous from a business standpoint. She DOESN'T need Bravo, but will still accept one-off appearance fees to promote whatever it is she's promoting. She DESERVES her flowers.

There’s something brilliant going on in the clip that really exemplifies Bethanys tact to deliver and execute a takedown like no other person on reality television. You have two notable men flanking Bethany, who has a reputation for being able to defend herself. On the one hand you have Andy, who’s show is his and these franchises are his own, but he’s almost apprehensive to go one to one with her because he knows exactly the kind of person that she is, and what she’s capable of, and she will come for the truth, regardless. On the other hand, you have Jeff Lewis who is one of the messiest guys out there, and he totally tries to come for Bethany and it backfires stupendously and Andy knows that was gonna happen so he didn’t dare take a shot like Jeff dead. He didn’t dare throw shade because he knew that Bethany would take a shot and shoot it out where it needed to be. That’s why as Rappaport said Bethany is the MVP of housewives.

I love her podcast, it's more introspective than you think it's gonna be, they use iconic episodes as a jump off point to discuss life stuff. But this was so entertaining. What I need to see is Bethenny, Nene, Kenya, Dorinda, Margaret all on the Ultimate Girls Trip, it'll be epic.

I love Bethenny, but Andy is right. Bethenny left RHONY and spent a lot of time trashing the show and unfortunately her post-Housewives ventures have mostly fallen flat. She can't totally walk it back and join RHONY again because her ego would not allow it so she's grabbing some cash and relevancy by doing the podcast.

I didn’t think Jeff was throwing shade, he was being nice but his usual sarcastic self when he lead up to, “let’s promote it.” And she brought up that she wasn’t let go and he was trying to segue into a self-deprecating joke of him getting fired. Let's be honest... she couldn't hack it as a talk show host, her other deal didn't last, and even Martha Stewart said she was annoying. Only reason she keeps coming back to housewives is because her other entertainment venues did't work for her... because she only appeals to a niche audience. I think all the housewives should be very thankful for the platform Andy has provided for them. Bethany was the smartest and used it the best. She is clearly the most successful of all the housewives. However, Andy is absolutely justified in the way that he feels. It is rather strange she trashes the show that made her, labeling it toxic and still want to make profit off of it. Good business move but rather hypocritical in my opinion.
