But when it really matters is at the end of the season and nobody remembers second place. Brutal as it is that’s how it works. And support wouldn’t be running before you can walk. If Liverpool fans were humble and you won the quad even I would be buzzing for it to be able to watch history being made.. But you guys weren’t humble. You acted like it was already done and dusted and even now. With egg all over your faces you still go on national radio telling everyone that you will piss all over Real Madrid. For all the Liverpool fans acting surprised that we supported City, even Everton fans, the so called friendly neighbours were supporting City, the reason is plain and obvious, we did.not want a club to do the QUAD and break our record of over two decades, If City were up for a quad and Liverpool could stop them, the entire league would have supported Liverpool including us, The quad is a remarkable accomplishment, but is a symbol of total dominance, we applaud Liverpool's efforts to come close to it but can never in out right minds support them to accomplish it.

I will agree with you saying we look a little bit leggy . We have played alot of games but we are hungry. I honestly believe we will do the business against Real. Yes anyone can win a game of football on the day. But real have lost 4 games getting to the final Sheriff, Psg,Chelsea,City. We lost 1 to Inter which was really unlucky from us . We already have played 2 Spainish teams in getting to the final which struggled to deal with our press Once we got it going. Real struggle against City and there press game also. Barcelona beat Real few month ago 4 0 which have pacey forwards counter attacking side play a little like us on the break. Real finished on 86 points winning there league while we came second on 92 points in a harder league. So if I look at the picture like that I feel very confident in winning. But it is a 50 50 it's football comon you reds.

Mo is far too confident over the Champions League Final, and in general, but let's not act as if City are a better side than Liverpool (they should be with their spending), they only won the league by a single point. Liverpool were literally a VAR decision away from winning the league.

Liverpool lost the league because Gerrard like a cover soldier provided enough cover fire for 75 mins allowing Liverpool time to take the initiative, but Liverpool could not break down Wolves in that crucial period and pile on pressure on City, so the title was in their own hands, they just did not want it as bad as City and it finally showed, the psychological pressure of trailing would have overwhelmed City.

If they were to lose that is. I can't see it in all honesty. Even if it went to pens they will probably still win it. They have that mentality in their group to win different ways. Not sure how their last two Cup wins went to pens to be honest, as they were two of the most entertaining, high-class finals to finish goalless.
